Chapter 1 .......

Flashback............

" muuum were is my black lace ......... I can't find it ." I said yelling . So my mum could somehow hear the chaos and stress I'm going through.

" it's in the laundry honey ." She yelled back intensely.

I sighed in frustration why would my mum try to wash it . Those are the only part of trainers I own . I guess I'm going to stick with my flats then . Ugh I have to change my outfit then .

So I went through my tiny wardrobe. I barely even have clothes . My mum and dad can't afford them .

I end up wearing a plane nude shirt . With blue denim jeans . My messy curly chestnut hair tied up in a messy bun . I really don't need makeup since my face is already clear and smooth. But just a little eyeliner and mascara won't hurt .

And while taking 20 minutes to get ready. I check my old watch that I got for winning a prize , I had it for 6 yrs . I know a sixteen year old girl should have a phone . My dad promised when I turn 17 he would get enough money to buy me one . I looked at my watch at it was 7:50 .

Oh my God, my bus is going to arrive in ten minutes !

I rush through the tiny kitchen and snatched an apple laying on a dark wooden basket that my grandma made for my parents anniversary .
I took a bite of my juicy apple while dragging my feet towards the front door lazily . And walked to the bus stop a few blocks away .

Once I sat down I saw a girl sitting besides me. Munching a sandwich. She glared at me for a while as our eyes met. She has ocean blue eyes. And long dirty blonde hair. She looked skinny from the side. She waved at me while managing to say "hi" with a sandwich covering her mouth . A chuckle escaped my mouth from her facial expressions .

I slowly waved and replied back ." Hi ..... my name is saryna stones ." I introduced myself but was still struggling to get those words out of my mouth. I really didn't know what to say or how to react . I never usually talk to strangers . I also never had the courage to make friends although my dad would coax me to make friends. He would also remind me that I will become lonely while growing up without a friend. What a lovely dad i have.

" my name is Gracie jones ." She softly said while a chuckle escaped her mouth . I frown at her. I really didn't know why she was laughing , I guess it was because of how I introduced myself.

" sorry , this is new to me ...... I don't have any friends ." I confirmed . My eyes focused on the floor I really didn't want to explain my sad , boring, lonely life to her .

I squeezed my eyes shut . So I could hold back the tears that threatens to fall out . Ugh, i feel so weak crying like this but i can't help it.

" you have me ." She reached her arm over my shoulders carelessly while squeezing it . Before I could thank her the buss arrived so I got up slowly making her arms fly around back to her position . 

I started rubbing my feet together. I usually do that when i'm nervous

I was really nervous that I was starting school. Not to mention my first ever school. I guess she could tell that I was nervous.

" your nervous aren't you ." She stated looking down at my feet then back up facing me .

" a little bit ." I confessed , she came closer to me and gave me a sideways hug before saying.

" don't be , you have me ." And at that moment she was my best friend.

Ever since I started school my dad worked in a fast food restaurant to help me get in school.
My mom and dad don't go work because they were rejected in every single one .
They say my dad looked weak and my mom doesn't fit in .

I always wanted to go school . And thankfully a man my friend knows named Steve geller   helped my dad get in the job .
He's the boss and someday I want to be like him .

Omg , guys this is my first chapter I've ever written . And I'm glad of how it went .

So if your wondering why it wasn't finished and why I published it when it was not finished . Wattpad deleted the chapters that I've written so i had to     re-wright it . And thankfully I got some of my chapters back .
