Authors note; thanks for reading my trash! Keep an eye out for foreshadowing. It's very subtle. Every chapter, I'll have a picture of a different Hamilton character and a link to an unpopular or old song. Sorry for typos!

Alexander Hamilton woke up at 5:00 in the morning in his apartment in New York City.
Why?
No one knew.
Alex had smooth, straight hair that almost reached his shoulders. His eyes were such a dark shade of brown, they appeared black from a distance, and his skin was tortilla brown. He came from a small island in the Caribbean.
Alex was smart and intimidating at work. He was messy for things he did not really care for, like his apartment, but could be quite organized. He had naturally been a gifted writer, and he had a way with words. One thing about Alex was he always expressed his opinion, even in a life or death situation. Alex was also brave, considering he is a war veteran.
The small man jumped out of bed and headed straight to the shower in his small apartment.
His apartment was never clean; the ground was always covered in papers, and the counters were always covered in paint from Philip's art projects.
Philip was like his father; outgoing and expressive. He was very smart, but instead of having a gift for writing, he had a gift for mathematics.
Philip was Alex's first and only son. Philip was about six years old. Philip, unlike Alex, and pale skin and was covered in freckles. Philip's hair color was caramel, and once again, unlike Alex's hair, Philip's hair was curly and bouncy. Philip had been growing out his hair, for he likes how it looks. But hates it in a pony tail. Due to Philip's heterochromia, his eyes were both an aquatic blue and syrup brown.
Philip thought this was weird once he saw other kids did not have eyes like him.
But Eliza and Alex told him it made him unique.
Eliza was Alex's ex wife. He ended his marriage with Eliza on good terms.
She was a tall women, but yet again, everyone was tall compared to Alex. Her hair was black, and her eyes a crystal blue. Her skin was pale, like Philip's, but she had no freckles. Philip got his freckles from his grandpa, also named Philip. She wore blue all the time. It was her favorite color, just how forest green was Alex's.
Eliza was kind, sweet, and caring. She has never been the smartest academically, but is very good at making decisions in important situations; she was wise. If anything, Eliza would always say "Look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now." It was her thing.
That would have a major impact on everyone one day.
Philip has loved art ever since Alexander's best friend, John Laurens, showed Philip himself his drawings.
The walls weren't anything special; just plain old beige color. Nothing was on the walls themselves. No pictures, no shelves.
He really needed to redecorate and reorganize.
Soon after his shower, Alexander quickly put on his favorite forest green suit and headed to work.
Alex was excited (like always). Alexander loved a lot of things, but the word love for work was an understatement. Work gave him a purpose.

Once Alexander was outside his apartment building, he breathed in, excited, for it was the start of May.
