"Yeah, yeah," I said in response. I pulled up a chair and sat next to her, watching the screen. She pressed a couple buttons, until a black screen appeared. "Aww man!" She sighed. She put the device down, and stared at the ceiling, looking disappointed.
I looked at the screen, and another message appeared. "Please, don't get involved. Leave now," it said.
"Yo Kim, check this out," I called out. She looked down at the screen, giving out a confused expression. "Whatever this game wants from us, it's not getting it. Nothing will stop me from playing this game," she explained, sounding serious.
At first, I didn't really think what she said got to me, but by the time I thought about it twice, I was a bit scared. What if she's already addicted into this game? No, that couldn't be it, all she did so far was read two warnings.
She then pressed some more buttons, looking impatient. Again, a message appeared. "This is your last warning, if you keep going, you can't turn back." "Kim, w-we should probably put the game away, and listen to these warn-" "No, if I see a game, I'm playing it!" She sounded determined.
I gulped, you know, what those cartoon characters do when theyre scared. I started to get nervous, while trying not to imagine what will happen next. Then, you guessed it, a message appeared.
"Whatever you say, don't go crying to me when you got what you deserved. Oh wait, you don't know who I am. Oh well, at least you'll find out soon." Out of all the messages, this one is probably the most interesting. Who is this person? Why is this so dangerous? What happens after we complete it?
But anyway. The shiny, and bright play button appeared at the middle of the screen. I look over to Kim, and of course, she was excited. She pressed play, and a character showed up in a room.
The character wore a long gray sweater, with a gray cap, it had dark gray hair, with dark grey eyes, and... You know what? He's basically dressed up as a stone.
But anyway, about the room. It looked like a very old basement. Spiders, and centipedes were running around, as if this was a playground for creepy crawlers, the floor had holes and cracks in it, and the place was called, "home."
Home, such a peaceful, yet scary word. It could either be as relaxing as a house, with your family all getting along, or if can be as creepy as a house that's more than destroyed.
But anyway, Kim pressed some buttons, to make the character move. She was interacting with a lot of things, by the time she was done, she went out the, quote on quote, "home," and outside was a bit more spooky than the last place.
It was just pitch black, the character and the house were still there, but it just didn't have a background, it's just darkness.
Kim was interested in the game even more, as she move the character forward. Then, four people, looking like the same person, appeared.
Each one of them looked so plain, they didn't really have a fashion interest, it's just dull and boring.
As Kim interacted with each one of them, each of them had one word to say, creating, yep, a message. "You." "Can." "Not." "Escape." They said.
That gave a chill down my spine as I read that. I looked over to Kim, and she looked like she had seen a ghost.
"Woah... So this is a horror game?" She questioned, looking at me, like she thought I know everything. "What? I don't know," I pointed out. She shrugged as she turned back to the house, but this next part probably made my heart skip a beat.

...

The house was gone, and so were the four people. "On no," I thought to myself. I started to get nervous, so nervous, that now would be really great to go back in time. Then, I wanted to see how Kim was doing, so I looked at her, and...
