Blind Date

Part 7

Bucky and Ellie were standing in a chapel in Vegas getting married with Nat and Steve there as their only wedding party. Bucky had Steve go with him the night before after they landed to get the rings cause he realized he didn't exactly propose to Ellie he just said let's get on a plane and go. So it got to the ring part and she bit her lip and Bucky said "It's ok baby I got them last night." 

Steve handed him both of her rings and slid the diamond on first and then said what he was suppose to say with wedding band and Nat handed her Bucky's wedding band and she did the same. After it was over and they had all the paperwork signed and stuff they went and had lunch with Nat and Steve and then the next morning they flew back to NY. 

When they got back and she went and got her named changed and her a new ID with her new last name. Then they called their families and told them they got married and the baby news. They weren't to happy with them running off and getting married but when they heard the baby news they softened up a bit.

*10 weeks later*

They were sitting at the doctor's office waiting to find out what their baby's gender was going to be. The nurse called them back and put them in the exam room with the ultrasound machine and said "The doctor will be with you all in a minute." 

Bucky kissed her forehead and said "I do hope it's a boy baby cause then we can have a girl next and her big brother can protect her just like yours does. See I have an older sister and she never liked her little brother being protective over her." 

She started laughing and said "I love Rebecca don't be mean..you two get along just fine."

"That's because she doesn't put in her two cents when I would fight with mom and dad. I've always been a bit hot tempered and a bad boy even with them." he said

"Mmm I love my bad boy." she said

He kissed her and whispered "Don't talk dirty to me." 

She giggled and said "oh you love it." 

"I do but not when we are public." he said 

The doctor came in and said "Ok Mr and Mrs Barnes let's find out what this little bundle of joy is." 

She started up the ultrasound machine and checked the measurements and the heartbeat. Then said "Ok little baby let's see what you are." as she started to move the wand around and said "It looks like a boy. Yup definitely a boy." 

They all started laughing as they looked up at the ultrasound and saw the baby putting his junk all full display. On the way home she started to think about names and she said "Do I have to make James the first name Bucky?'

He looked down and said "Yeah it's kinda a family name now so James has to be the first name so just pick a middle name that you can call him." 

"Oh..ok" she said 

"I'm sorry baby." he said as he reached over and grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckles. 

When she got home she started to google names that went with James that sounded good and rolled off the tongue. Bucky had went to the gym to start training for his next fight and she found a name she liked and whispered "James Easton Barnes." and the baby kicked her and she said "Is that your way of saying you like the name cause mama likes the name." Bucky had walked in and smiled as he heard her and said "What's this name you two have agreed on?"

He walked over and sat beside her on the couch and placed his hand on her stomach and she said "James Easton Barnes." and he felt him kick against his hand and he said "Yeah definitely need to go with that one he seems to like it."
