There comes a time in a person's life when you will have to sacrifice. Some times it maybe something simple like not eating a meal because you have children and not enough food, or you have to go places you do not wish to go because your family forced you. And even those examples may not seem sacrificial to some, and that is Ok, this is one of these times where a sacrifice was made. Not just by me, but by my family as well. We all would loose and we all would gain. I can't define theirs but I can define mine.

Preparing to leave for the journey to work for The Company took me several days. Not only did I have to prepare mentally, I had to gather supplies as well. Visiting the local suppliers I took the list from the message boards and I purchased what I could with my limited monies. A sleeping bag, cloths to clean, socks, and other hygienic products. Proud of my accomplishment, I returned home to bid farewell to my family and embark on this is epic adventure.

The travel to the depo station was long and quiet. It was a bright day, few clouds and the bugs didn't bother us much. During the drive over, I felt that I could hear everyone's heartbeat. I felt their eyes following my every move. I began to feel a little uncomfortable, even hot. Was I being analyzed? Did I do or say anything wrong? Why wasn't anyone laughing? My expectations for their behavior was really off. Why?
Maybe while at home, I am not a very emotional person, I feel I am, but it is what others perceive of you that defines you in a family. This is not my belief, but what I have l learned. So what their expectations for my departure reactions was, I don't know. But I do know I was screaming inside. I did not want to go and I was secretly hoping for someone anyone to walk up to me while speaking in an angelic voice, a sight breeze would blow animating their clothes. And when synchronized with their hand gestures it would almost appear that they were floating. The mysterious stranger would speak.

Mysterious strangers " Hello, young man, I entering this establishment had a vision and it I was given instructions by this omnipresent voice and I will follow. The voice told me to give you this."
From his backpack he pulls an item. He hands me a brown leather sack, secured by a green drawstring. It was heavier than I expected and the jingle of coins peaked my interest. Noticing my interest, the mysterious stranger would respond, " Yes. Please take this. It will keep you. And prevent this needless sacrifice."
I would graciously accept the bag, smiling not questioning where it came from or how he got it. All the while slowly backing up in the direction of my car. Thinking, This would be my blessing. And who doesn't like blessings?"
I would have gotten back into my car and drove home quickly. But my Mysterious stranger did not appear, so I had to kiss my lovely but sad wife and hug my concerned and confused yet smiling but sadden kids and board the TheGreyBeast..

But before I proceed any further, let me define some things. First, these thoughts are my own and if they are not I will say so. These adventures are from my point of view which can be different from yours and may take you down an unfamiliar path. The company is who I work for. If there are any other thing I need to define I will.
