Ch 7

Makaylas POV

"Who were those people who followed you here? Friends, family, loved ones?" He asked standing with his back to me. "What do you mean?" I asked confused thinking about how Kaylyn couldn't drive. "In that case I guess we'll just have to kill them, the seem to mean nothing to you." The mad man said picking up a knife from the table next to me.

He walked over to the far wall and pushed some kind of button that made the wall go down into the floor, revealing two people strapped to the wall a boy and a girl. Since I didn't have my glasses on I couldn't make out who they were but they seemed close to me. When the man started walking towards them the girl screamed "Makayla!! It's me Kaylyn!" I went quiet my heart rate increasing as I heard her voice. "Kaylyn? I'm over here!" I shouted back at her. The man turned around, "I thought you didn't know these people." He said in a rough low voice. "I could still kill them... but seeing they mean this much to you maybe keep them until your 'fixed' to see if it worked." He added.

A couple hours passed after that and I laid there staring at the ceiling thinking about Kaylyn and the other person who was with her. He must have helped her find me. I tried smiling but it only brought tears to my eyes bringing memories of my abusive mother into my mind. How I always tried to smile but most were just fake hiding my pain. Kaylyn was the only person who I felt happy with, the only person who accepts me for me, the one I don't want to loose, the one who protects me and makes me smile. The tears kept coming and didn't stop. I was alone the man was gone off somewhere I didn't know about. There was a door that he left thirty minutes ago off to the right side of he room.

A couple minutes pass and he walks back into the room with another needle filled with a different color liquid from last time...
