~Sky's Pov.~
Its about the middle of an ordinary day. I'm running through the woods, the wind rushing through my fur. My blue eyes, shining as the sunset light, shines on them. My whole body, full of energy, I could run for hours. My life was amazing, I had no need to care for anyone but me. I love it. Its amazing.
"Feel that wind!" I call out. Gaining speed, as I run down a very large hill. The wind picking up, as I race down the hill, trying to beat my own shadow. I reach the bottom of the hill and lay against a tree, resting as my breathing would heave. I smile up at the rising moon.
"What a lovely night." I say, as I rest my eyes.
~One hour later.~
I wake up softly, but something doesn't feel right. My chest aches, my tail is shivering, but I'm not cold, my heart is beating twice as fast.
"What t-the?" I ask myself. I go to stand up, but my legs collapse underneath my weight. I lean bacck against the tree, unsure of what to do. I softly begin to think to myself.
"I can't howl. . . hunters may find me. . . but. . . I need help. . ." I look around my. Closing my eyes softly, I lean my head up, and et out a loud, helping howl.
~Kevin's Pov.~
I'm laying in my house, resting my eyes, when I hear a how, coming from just behind my house. I jump to my feet, bolting out the door. Thinking to myself.
"Who the hell howled at this time?! Are they stupid?!" I run towards the howl. Understanding what is wrong. The howl, is a cry for help.
