Day Time Stars

~Sky's Pov.~

I don't understand. . . . no one will talk to me. What's going on? Why won't they tell me? Is it that bad they have to hide it from me? The pack healer says not to worry about it. But. . . I can't help but worry. Cass has lost the brightness to her eyes. They've turned dull, and lifeless. Kevin. . .I haven't seen. It hurts, knowing he'll never accept me as his mate. I just want to give up. Just let go. But. . . I can't. I need to stay strong for Cass, and Kevin. I meet Kevin's dad the other day. If I remember correctly, his name was John. But, oh well.

"Sky?" Its Kevin voice. Fuck. . . was not expecting that. I turn and look at him. He knows it hurts to talk.

"How you holding up?" He asks. I give him the look of. "Really? Did you seriously just ask that?" He chuckles. Hot. . . His voice is driving me crazy. My wolf just wants to yell out "Take Me!" But. . .I have to hold back.

"Sky. Can I ask you something?" He looks worried. Scared even. I nod to him. He walks over, and sits beside me. He sets his hand on my hand, and looks at me. In the eyes. Kevin, his eyes, so green, and bright. They're lovely. I nod to him. He swallows a little and sighs.

"How do you feel about me? Be honest."

"I feel. . . ." I choke. I grab a note pad from the side, and a pen from the desk. I begin to write how I felt about him. After finishing. I hand him the pad, and he reads it. The smile that spreads across his dace, must mean something. He sets the pad down, and lays over top of me. He's not on me, but like, his above me. Know what I mean? That's when it happened. His soft, moist lips, pressed against mine. I couldn't hold back. I kissed him back, his tongue slid across my bottom lip. I knew he wanted entrance, so I opened my mouth slightly. His tongue slipped into my mouth. Our tongues danced around. Fighting for dominance. Of course he wins. I wrap my arms around his neck.

"Kevin. . ." I mumble between the kiss, trying not to let go.

"Sky." He replies back. Picking me up in his arms. So gentle. My body has heated up so much. I think Kevin noticed. Shit. Now what?
