Me, Freed and Bickslow entered the Southgate park and walked over to a shaded area of the park which, wasn't occupied by anyone. I put my back against the tree and propped up my left foot against it whilst crossing my arms. Freed and Bickslow stood in front of me with their arms crossed and serious facial expressions.

"So, it's obvious you are upset about something, you better spit it out." I said, annoyed by the situation.

"Well, I saw Laxus earlier and he didn't look pleased at all, he explained what happened in the infirmary and how you kicked up a fuss about nothing." Freed explained.

"Look, I don't know what Laxus said to you but, our little arguement we had earlier was a misunderstanding from the job request we went on a couple of days ago." I explained.

"That's what he was up to then." Freed said quietly to himself.

"What do you mean? Of course that's what he was up to, what did you think he was doing?" I asked.

"Well he told us that he was doing a job by himself when me, Bickslow and Evergreen came back from our job." Freed informed.

"Yeah, although we haven't seen much of him the last couple of days, we thought he must've been doing smaller jobs around Magnolia." Bickslow added.

That's right. The Thunder Legion weren't at the guild when I arrived, and they must've got back when I was in the infirmary. So Laxus didn't tell them about me or about the job we went on, I wonder why? Is it because he thought they might be jealous?

"So Laxus was with you then?" Freed asked.

"Yes, he wanted to do a job with me." I replied.

"I don't think so. Laxus prefers to work by himself or with the Thunder Legion, unless he's been told otherwise." Freed chuckled.

"Chuckle all you want, I was going to work with Lucy but, he offered instead. I'm sorry to disappoint you." I grinned.

"You sure have a mouth on you." Bickslow laughed.

"Don't encourage her." Freed said.

From a distance I could see Laxus walking towards us, however, Bickslow and Freed couldn't see him coming since they had their backs to him.

"Can we just drop this and be friends? I don't want to hold a grudge with you guys." I said softly.

"As long as you stay away from our Laxus. Mess with him and you will be dealing with us." Freed demanded.

"Don't be harsh Freed, that's too far." Bickslow responded.

"That's right Bickslow." Laxus agreed.

Bickslow and Freed had shock on their faces and turned around quickly to see Laxus standing there.

"Laxus. It's good to see you." Freed smiled.

"I'm not really in a smiling mood at the moment. Mira told me what happened." Laxus replied.

"Yes, well that's why we were talking to Akari, she upset Evergreen by making up rumours." Freed explained.

"Seriously? I'm not stupid Freed. Elfman and Evergreen's relationship isn't exactly a rumour is it?" Laxus responded.

"Well..." Freed said nervously.

"Leave Akari alone. She's a good kid, I liked working with her. We just had a small falling out that's all." Laxus said with a small grin on his face as he was looking at me.

I smiled awkwardly back at Laxus.

"But we are your team Laxus, we are at your beck and call." Freed insisted.
