Seokjin almost danced around his office, he was that happy. He was totally not a dancer, but with the news he just recieved, he might as well start hitting the folks or even moonwalking down the busy streets.

He worked as the head psychologist in a research group, and the American Psychiatry Association had just given him a grant to continue his research on late-onset schizophrenia. That meant Seokjin could hire more researchers to help him out and maybe get some new machines for scanning patients.

Seokjin and his group had applied for this grant for 3 years before, and it was always given to other groups around the world; rarely given to groups in Korea. But this year, he was the only group in the whole country to get it. To say he was happy was a complete understatement; He Was Fucking Ecstatic.

Seokjin reached for his ice coffee, but was so jittery with joy and ended up spilling it on his Michael Kors dress pants. For fuck's sake, it seemed like his fiance's clumsy-ness was starting to rub off on him. He cursed out loud, looking around for a tissue or something to wipe it off, even though it had begun to stain the cream coloured pants.

Knock knock knock knock.

"Come in." Seokjin said, frantically trying to clean the coffee stain with his handkerchief. To his dismay, it wasn't working...

"Hi Dr Kim." Said the voice of the secretary, Yoon Hyerin. She was one of the newer interns from the nearby university, and lowkey sucked up to Seokjin and the other head investigators. She was cute, in her early 20s, very organized, and wore v-neck blouses alot for some odd reason. Hyerin never failed to bring Seokjin his daily ice coffee with a shot of hazelnut and a red velvet muffin, which made his day soooooo much better.

"Hyerin, what's up?" Seokjin flashed her one of his pearly white smiles, making her look to the ground bashfully. Seokjin knew he was handsome, his fiance told him everyday but damn, enough to make her get all shy and bashful? How cute.

"Dr Kim, um, a few of the patients require to get a PANSS screening before they join the baseline studies. Patients 1046-1053 need to get the screening done. Dr Khine booked them for tomorrow at 12pm to get it done, but you'll have to be there to do them because she's away at the campus."

Seokjin nodded his head, saying, "Is that all, Hyerin?"

"No, no. Also, you were at that conference in Switzerland so Dr Khine did some of the prescan tests...patient 1054 and 1055 were positive for the ToxiQUICK PAN-10 test panels so Dr Khine just excluded them, she told me to tell you." Hyerin said quickly, and slid a typed report onto Seokjin's desk.

Fucking hell. Dr Khine was always stepping on Seokjin's toes and doing his job when he didn't ask for help. All the researchers in his group had to have good communication when it came to conducting studies and working with participants, but Dr Khine always did whatever she wanted to do without notifying the others. During lunch breaks, his coworkers often complained about how if Dr Khine wanted to do something, she gets it done on her terms, not caring about others. It was reassuring to know that others disliked her as much as Seokjin did, so he wasn't the only one who wanted to fight her...

"Ah, I see. Is Dr Khine in today?" Seokjin asked while skim reading the report. He feigned interest in what the report said, but honestly couldn't give a flying fuck of what it said.

"I haven't seen her yet. I can call her office?" Hyerin suggested.

"It's fine. I'll drop by later today. Thank you Hyerin."

"Yes, Dr Kim." She said, bowing deeply then walked out the door quickly. Seokjin sighed deeply, trying to read over the report that Dr Khine wrote for him, but had to resist the urge to rip it apart. Even thinking of her made his ears burn with anger...
