girlband pt 2✨

-after a few months of not seeing each other
-you and finn decided to meet up and finally write the duet
-he was sitting on his couch with his acoustic guitar
-just playing simple riffs
-when he finally noticed you standing around him
-"come on, sit down, write some words on this paper."
-he handed you a small notebook
-looking through it for a blank page, you saw all of the discarded lyrics he has written
-"finn these are really good!"
-"really? i always thought they didn't make any sense."
-after that, you started looking at some
-trying to see if you could make something out of some
-getting (your instrument) out
-you continued to play around with some of finns lyrics, adding some of yours in too
-after about 4-5 hours
-the song was made
-it sounded too good tbh
-but after letting the rest of calpurnia have their hand in it
-it sounded so much better
-after a few weeks of perfecting it
-the night of the concert came
-and you were terrified
-finn was calming you down
-rocking you into a hug
-saying encouraging words
-asking if you wanted to practice again
-eventually you were ready
-finn introduces you to the crowd
-the whole moment feeling surreal
-"we have a special guest here tonight, we wrote a song together after popular demand. she is my best friend and girlfriend/boyfriend, y/n!"
-walking onstage you could feel your heart in your throat, hear it in your ears
-for some odd reason you were basically panicking about singing with your boyfriend
-as soon as finn walked over and said a few more encouraging words
-you both started playing the new song
-people were jumping
-screaming
-having the time of their lives
-you and finn kept giving each other little glances
-every single time you did people screamed even louder
-after the song was over you and finn hugged for a little too long
-and finally parted after screams got louder and louder
-finn snuck in a little kiss
-after the entire concert
-you and finn hugged again
-also you congratulated the band
-after a late night meal at the closest restaurant
-you and finn plopped down onto his hotel room bed
-laughing and chatting about whatever came to mind
-this great moment ended by mary saying it was late and it was time to go to bed
-you and finn lay down and cuddle for a few minutes before laughing again
-"that was so much fun!"
-"we need to do it again!"
-whispering of course
-you ended with an "i love you" "i love you too baby"
