Yo! Just wanted to let y'all know a few things before we actually begin with this story.
1. I work very, very, VERY slowly. Just because my stories might be good, that doesn't mean I'm going to upload frequently.
2. I am not the creative type. I simply do. Plus, the planned sequel to this story's gonna be a bit wonky, so... prepare yourselves for that.
3. Bold is thoughts.
4. Italics is emphasization.
5. Bold + italization + underline = my notes.
6. "Retro" is M/C in this series, because fuck you.
And with that being said, let's get in with the story!!!
1:00 P.M. Natsuki's POV
I figured that since my dad wasn't going to be home for a few more hours, I'd text Sayori. Maybe she'll help me out of this hellhole once and for all... or maybe she won't. Who am I to say? I just hope that... No! Bad Natsuki! She'd never accept someone like me! Anyhow...
1:05 P.M. Sayori's POV
Eh? My phone's going off? Better check what it's about. I checked my phone, and Natsuki added me to a... Group Chat..? Better ask her what's up.
1:07 P.M. No one's POV
"What's the occasion of you having to text me, Natsuki?
🤔" - SayoriThe sight of that question made Natsuki shiver... not in fear, but... anticipation.
"Well, I just didn't wanna make a big scene, y'know?" - Natsuki
"Oh, alright then! What did you wanna talk about?" - Sayori
Natsuki cursed under her breath because of what she wanted to talk about, but God, how she didn't want to...
"Well... it's a bit personal." - Natsuki
"I promise I won't tell anyone, Natsuki!" - Sayori
"It's about you, Sayori." - Natsuki
"About me..? What's so serious about me that it has to be talked about? Or even discussed?" - Sayori
A couple minutes pass before Natsuki types her next message.
"Well, Retro told me you have depression... that isn't true, is it?" - Natsuki
1:19 P.M. Sayori's POV
What!? Why would he... why would Retro say that to her..? And Natsuki specifically..? Well, if it was only Natsuki, I guess I should come clean.
"Yeah... it's true. I just wish I could trust him..." - Sayori
I hesitated to hit the Send button, but instinct did it for me. I'm breaking out in tears, until...
*Ding!*
My phone went off again.
"What do you mean, Sayori?" - Natsuki
I felt sick to my stomach... like at any second, I'd throw up all over my room... Of course, that's ridiculous. So, I decided to talk more... maybe she'll- No! Bad Sayori!!! She'll never accept a childish crybaby such as yourself!
"He promised me that he wouldn't tell anyone about it... I thought we were friends..." - Sayori
1:28 P.M. Natsuki's POV
