She just walked out i was sat there thinking how my dad and Tallboy knew her I've never seen her round the bar.

Sweet Pea glared at me "dude what the hell !!!"

"What? I'm just saying how it is."

"When she said her life is hard she wasn't lying she has it worse than you. Do you know why she can't sit in the cafeteria, her ex cheated on her with her other best friend and the next day Joaquin picked her up from school and they twisted it on her saying it was her who cheated and she had serpent slut written across her locker."  He yelled at me I sat there dumbfounded.

" The worse part is her mom found out and called her a worthless slut and didn't believe her so when I went round I told I was gay she didn't speak to Betty for 3 days." Joaquin told me.

I just there thinking about how much I screwed up. I got up and walked out to find a spot to smoke.

I walked out a back door and found a spot under the bleachers but to find Betty Cooper smoking there already.

I looked at her and felt guilt for what I did, I don't know her, I have no right to judge her she didn't judge me. I only did it because I like her but know there is no chance she will be with me so I made her hate me before I start anything.

I get out my last cigarette and reach in my pocket for my lighter to realize I don't have it I look at her " you got a lighter I can borrow?" i ask and she hands me one. I take a drag of mine and say to her " look I'm sorry for what I said in there I had no right and Sweet Pea told me what happened with your ex."

She looks over to me and blows smoke in my face. I guess I deserved that." Why did you say that?" She asked I thought might as well tell her.

"I like you your not like the other girls something about you intrigues me, you are an enigma but I know I have no chance." I look down at my feet taking another drag.

"For what it's worth I like you too and you have every chance" I look up at her "me and Sweet Pea are going to the Wyrm tonight if you wanna talk."she puts out her cigarette.

"To be honest I'm surprised we haven't met before." She is now stood in front of me.

"I blend in really well and I need my lighter back." I wanted to know what she'd do so I held it out of her reach." Please it's my only one. "She said reaching for it but I don't move. Then all of a sudden she's cupping my face and her lips are on mine I can't help but kiss her back. My arms drop to my sides then she's not there.

She stepped back smirking holding her lighter I smirk back at her and pulling her back in for a kiss which she reciprocates.
