"When Hailey and I were little we loved to have water balloon fights. Our parents will yell at us but we didn't care. I remember how much fun we had..."

Without realizing I had stopped listening.

So I finished high school and got my own place so that's good.

But...I don't know what I want to do with my life. So right now I'm working at a fast food place while I figure that out.

Sydney is in her last year of high school and she says she wants to be a therapist.

We are always together cause...well, she basically lives at my place now.

"...and then she said that I had to choose between her or-"

"You talk about Hailey a lot lately."
I interrupted her.

She looked down.

"I know...I just really miss her."
She said.

"I know how you feel...I miss my brother too."
I meantioned trying to make her feel a little bit better.

Ever since that weird dream I had 2 weeks ago I can't really look at Sydney in the same way again. I still love her with all my heart but...maybe I'm overthinking everything.

"I'll be right back."
She said and stood up from the couch.

"Okay."

Sam is in college right now but he doesn't really know what he's doing. He is just as lost as me.
I don't get to see him a lot but when I do we have the best times.

My eyes shifted to the window and I watched two bees chasing each other. I pushed my hair out of my face and sighed.

Sydney came back with a bucket of ice cream and two spoons.

"It's 11 am."
I said smiling.

"So? I can still have ice cream."
She said.

I grabbed one of the spoons and pulled the bucket away from her.

"Hey! Gimme it!"
She laughed.

I removed the lid and began eating in front of her.

"You are an idiot."
She said.

"I love ya too."
I replied.

Sydney tried to take the ice cream from me but I just started tickling her.

"St-sto- haha- COLBY I'M GONNA KICK YOU."
She said.

"Alright alright...Just don't kill me!"
I laughed.

She laughed too and looked at me with wide eyes.

Before I could ask her why she was looking at me like that the doorbell rang.

"Ughhh...Who could it be?"
I sighed.

I stood up from the comfy couch and walked to the door.

I looked through the peephole and instantly smiled.

When I opened the door I was immeadiately attacked with a hug.

"Colby!!"

"Angie! It's been so long!"

We pulled apart and Sydney came to see what was going on.

"Oh hi! I'm Colbys sister- Angie. I'm visiting from college."
She introduced herself.

"Oh my hey! Colby has told me a lot about you! I'm Sydney!"

They hugged and we stepped inside.

"Nice place you've got."
Angelica said.

She put all her stuff down and we all sat on the couch.

"Oh yes..You must be hungry right? I'm going to get you something to eat."
I said.

"Colbs it's okay I'm-"
Angelica began to say but I already began going to the kitchen.

While I was cooking I heard then chatting in the other room.

I hope they get along.
