New Moon – A poem by Fictional Illusion

If the new moon brings beginnings,

Then what do I wish to create?

My life has important meaning,

But I hold no purpose as of late,

To find the beauty possible,

If I make this wish,

Just looking for the gist of life,

Is it hidden in this antediluvian myth?

The chance at being happy,

The choice of taking risks,

I seek to find the desires,

That are buried my heart amidst,

Could this symbol of night,

Be the Fresh start I seek,

New moon,

New chance,

New life,

An everlasting love of self is found,

When your dreams are let free,

To soar, to run, to spring,

Happiness can be achieved,

As desires prompt the risk,

To exist, to be believed, to be reached,

Only then do you achieve purpose in the success that comes with bliss.
