Pregnant with Luke Brooks

Ultrasound

Today I woke up and realized today is the day of my ultrasound. I'm already over 3 months pregnant nearly four. I got out of bed and got into the shower and after I got dressed then applied my make-up. Luke was already downstairs ready. I was just putting my shoes on. I went downstairs and went into the living room to reveal Luke! I sat on his lap and kissed him. I buried my head in his neck. He looked down at my stomach, "Wow!" he said staring. "What's wrong?" I said panicking. "I can't remember your stomach being that big last night!" he said holding my bump and talking to it. "I know! it feels like its growing every minute of the day!" I giggled. "We should go" he said getting the car keys and pecking my lips. So we drove to the hospital too be greeted my the receptionist. "Name please?" she snobbily said. "Madison Brooks & Luke Brooks" I snapped back politely. "Please take a seat in the waiting room and wait until your nurse calls you." she said. Luke and I walked hand-in-hand to the waiting room. I have to admit it seemed very cute the fact you could see my growing bump and Luke and I were holding hands and we have been together for almost 4 years, married for 2 years. It just felt special. We sat down until I heard a door open and my name being called "Madison Brooks?" a lady called. Luke and I got up and walked into the room. "Please Madison, lie down." she smiled. I layed down and she rolled my jumper up just below my boobs. "This is just gel I'm going to put on your stomach to do the ultrasound, it may be cold but you will get used to it." she giggled. I smiled and looked at Luke. "If possible, would you like to know the sex of the baby?" she asked, scanning the untrasound set across my stomach. "Yes please!" Luke and I said at the same time. She laughed. "Looks like your having a daughter!" she smiled. I looked at Luke. He was holding back a tear. Tear of joy of course. "Would you like to hear a heartbeat?" she asked. "mhm" I said.

*thump*thump*

*thump*thumps* filled the room as I started to smile in happiness. "Would you like pictures?" the nurse announced wiping the gel off of my stomach. I nodded in happiness "Please" I said. She took the picture and ripped them out of the machine, she handed them to me and planned our next appointment. Luke and I walked out of the hospital room hand in hand now knowing that soon enough we would be parents to a beautiful baby girl.
