Shopping for the baby

Its been nearly three weeks since the baby and I's ultrasound, Luke and I decided to go shopping for the unborn baby for when. I slowly, but surely, Waddled around 'Babies are us' while Luke strolled along behind with the trolley. I picked out the crib. It was a pine wood and look. The matching rocking arm chair was sitting beside it and in my head I was debating on whether to get the rocking arm chair also or just get the crib. "We'll just get both baby" Luke said smiling. So Luke lifted the box for both into the trolley and we walked down to the 'baby essentials' aisle with my arm linked in Luke's. As we walked down I was looking at all the baby essentials. "Oh Luke! We need diapers love." I said pointing my finger towards the 'newborn' fitted diapers. Luke strolled over and got some. As we walked down further I took a glimpse at the section rash cream was in. I scooped it into my hands and read the back of the label being cautious that this product was safe for my baby, and I. I then read on and decided to get it. I put it into the trolley and then came across the milk formula (for when I stopped breast feeding of course'). "What formula would be better love?" I asked staring at each formula, Luke turned into me. "Maybe the green one?" He said clearly. I grabbed the green milk formula (the tub was green obviously not the formula powder!) and turned and kissed Luke. "I love you" he said to me with loving eyes. "I love you more" I replied smiling. We walked along with the trolley with my arm linked with his still. Then, we reached the 'baby clothing' aisle. My heart started 'thudding' like crazy and I don't no why. Maybe the thought that I would have to shop in this section someday and that day is clearly today!' I said to myself. "Madi" Luke paused staring at my startled face "Are you ok?" he said fixing a lose hair behind my ear. I nodded, kissing him on his forehead. We strolled into the clothing aisle for newborn babies and I seen the cutest little outfit for a baby girl! I knew that this outfit would be perfect for a little girl. It was a little blouse top with little denim jeans and a little frilly hairband and frilly socks! It was the cutest. So I chose out the newborn size and put it in. Then looking around I seen lots of stuff. By the end when I looked into the trolley when we were on our way up to pay at the check-out, I realized we had bought so much stuff for the baby. We also bought a baby bouncer and rocker, stuffed animals and blankets! The trolley was over full! We got to the check out as the woman quickly scanned her eyes over my now fully noticeable bump. "How many weeks?" she asked smiling, "Nearly five" I replied with the same expression as her. "Congratulations" she said. Luke and I both smiled. After paying we walked to the parking lot and put everything in the boot of the car. "We already bought a car seat for the baby, didn't we?" Luke said to me wonderingly. "Yes,will you actually set it up please. I have no clue how too boo" I said. Nodding. He kissed me slowly on the lips. As we reversed out of the parking lot Luke grabbed my hand and held it. "I love you" he said. " I love you too" I replied.
