The four settled down in the table.
It has been barely a month, yet the table can't even be half full now.
"I suggest we stick together." Chaeyoung announced.
"Well, I suggest we separate." Tzuyu opposed.
"Have you not notice that everytime the killer strikes he or she does it one by one? Separating just makes the job easier."
"Hey, don't pretend like you don't know that the killer is one of us, using that pathetic 'him or her' of yours. Sticking together would only give her greater chance. I believe, that we would be safer on our own."
"Are you saying that I am the killer?" Chaeyoung stood up abruptly.
"Most likely yes!"
"Tzuyu! How could you say that?" Mina hugged Chaeyoung tightly.
"Fine! Let Chaeyoung kill you then. Don't come haunt me afterwards."
After Tzuyu left, Chaeyoung excused herself to clear her mind.
The two Japanese girl looked at each other with fatigue in their eyes. They both wished this would end soon. But something told them, the killer won't back down until he or she gets what's wanted, and the duo didn't know what.
They warmed each other as they pulled into a tight hug and melted into a sobbing mess.
Tzuyu watched silently once again outside of the house.
Jealousy penetrated her. It made her want to do many things she knew she shouldn't.
But she also knew, that her jealousy wouldn't last long, and it almost made her happy. And perhaps, it was also because of what she knew, she wasn't afraid of being outside alone.
