⚠️❗️A, G❗️⚠️

(The song up top is the song Mark's singing)

Mark's POV
———

I rode the bus home, listening to music as I waited to get home, when a familiar small figure sat next to me.

"Sup Loner." He lightly shoved my arm.

I pull my right earbud out, looking towards him "Hey Jack... why'd you sit next to me?"  I chuckle "I'm the weird kid on the bus."

"Yeah, and I'm the new kid, what's the problem?"  He laughs.

"No problem at all."  I smile.

"Did you get my note?"  He lightly bites his lip.

I nod to him "When should I call you?"

"Whenever."  He giggles.

"I could seriously listen to him all day" I thought as I smiled to myself.
"So, you never answered my question earlier."  I smirk.

"What question?"  He lightly tilts his head.

"Who were you talking about when you said 'better looking'?"

"Uhm...." he looks around and smiles when the bus stops.  "This is my stop, oops, gotta go, byeeee!"  He waves and walks away quickly, sprinting to his front door the second he got off the bus.

"Dammit..." I mumble to myself.

I smirk "I'll just call and ask him later... he can't get out of that."  I put my earbud back in and listen to my music the rest of the way home.

— 15 minutes later —

The bus stops in front of my house, my mom's car isn't out front.

"She's probably at her new boy toy's house." I thought as I rolled my eyes and got off the bus.

I walked inside and put my bag down by the couch. "Well, guess I have to clean up this shit hole." I sigh as I put my phone in my back pocket.

I walk into the kitchen and start lip syncing to my music as I grab a plate and start washing it. I looked around and smiled slightly as I started singing out loud, using the scrub brush I was holding as a microphone.

"My life is like a video game! Trying hard to beat the stage!"
I wiggle to the music while I wash the dishes.

"All while I'm still collecting coins!
Trying hard to save the girl, obstacles, I'm jumping hurdles!" I set the plate on the counter and twirl, grabbing the next one I have to wash. "I'm growing up to be a big boy! I battle with the evil ways, I travel far and try and save" I keep singing while I wash the dishes.

"Sorry but your princess isn't here! I take a rest, I push the pause, level up and move along in hopes that the next stage I will clear! I'm just tryin to keep from dyin!" I start dancing to the music when the chorus plays.

"ITS JUST A GAME, THAT WE PLAY, AND FOR HEAVENS SAKE! LOOKING FOR A BETTER WAY TO PLAY IT!" I sing into the brush again. "LIFE IS FOR, KEEPING SCORE, AND FOREVER MORE! STOP COMPLAININ AND START CHANGING IT!" I bob my head to the beat, waiting for the lyrics to start again.
