2 - The Quiet Before The Storm

I made my way to the Exit door and opened it without hesitation.

As soon as you walk out that door the first thing you see is the beautiful sky. Both of the school on on a hill covered in forest so it has the best sun sets, and hang out spots.

I walk to the forest line and find the usual spot where most of the cool students hang with the boys. It looks like a scene from a movie. Three logs around a, rock circled, fire pit.

Some nights we watch the sun go down behind the schools. I sit on one of the logs and just relax for a bit.

I sat there for a bit just looking around at the trees. Some are marked with spray paint that glows in the dark. Yeah not the best decision when your actually trying to hide the place.

I'm still not sure how I feel about being picked for the game. But you know what atleast I get a vacation in the future. And usually the guy winner always give some of the money to the girl if they don't end up living happily ever after.

I think I will like this game. Especially if I already have a rep at their school. Every year I do a fun, stupid, or just teasing prank on them. Freshman year I marked up all their cars in the parking lot one day when they were all in class. Their cars were all in top shape too especially since they never leave school until the weekends and Christmas break.

Sophomore year I dated the winner of last year's game. Then I literally knocked him out at their school when I found out he cheated.

This year (Junior year) I ran threw their halls in a bikini. It was suppose to be a dare to run in on one of their games and take off my shirt but I amped it up, or at least I think.

Before I got picked to be the player in the game. I was trying to come up with a good one for my senior year. I think it had to do with putting three beers in front of every door while their at dinner. Then put up a paper saying I'm hiding in the school and the winner gets me for the night. But when really i wouldn't be there. So there would be a bunch of guys running around there hiding the beer smell from the staff, while looking for me.

Then I remembered that I only had 20 minutes before dinner earlier so I decided to just go back in early.

"Hey, your back earlier than usual." Bex says when I walk in.

"Oh well.... where's jade?" I ask.

"I think Joey came by earlier they talked out in the hall for a bit then they left together." Bex says sitting in her comfy chair.

"If that's true she won't be back tonight. Might not even see her at dinner. Oh and time check." I say grabbing my phone off my bed.

"4 minutes until they call us for dinner over the intercom." I hear her say as I read. Read 4 notifications.

"Oh my god. what do you want?" I yell while unlocking my phone.

I opened the text first.

C: Hey, can I call?

C: You there?

C: WILLOW

With out replying I go to my Snapchat.

Then I open Facebook Messenger.

CH: are you hooking up with someone rn like come on girl.

I go to my contacts and video call him.
