"You know, I really don't need a ride. Thank you though, it's been a great talk. Seriously, thank you. Thank you so much," I say as I grab Viva's hand and try to walk away. Viva hold her ground and looks at me sternly.

"I think that your car has broken down."

I look back at Peter who seems to busy kicking a rock on the ground then to listen to two girls argue about if they need a ride or not. I look back and forth between Viva and Peter.

"This is so embarrassing," I say as my body cringes inwardly. "Um Peter?"

"Yes?" He says looking up at me and showing off his beautiful doe brown eyes that makes my heart swoon a little bit. Or maybe a lot.

"Uh..um....hm."

"She would just like to say that she would love a ride from you and that it is very thoughtful of you." I nod my head agreeing with Viva and look down at my knees that I somehow buckled in my awkwardness.

"Okay, let me get Levi and we will get going." Peter walks into the household and I let out a sigh.

Viva smiles a lot. "Sometimes I wish Matthew was gay."

I snap out of my imaginary dream world. "What now?" She laughs and seems to choke but then recollects herself.

"You were practically drooling. I had to make you stop it was embarrassing for not just you but me." She covers her mouth to laugh more.

"It was not. Liar."

"Honey, I would lie about a lot of things. Including the cleanliness of my room, my grades, and how real my blond hair is. But I would never in a million years lie when it comes to my best friend and boys."

I roll my eyes at her little monologue. Soon Peter strolls out with a grumpy looking Levi.

"I swear to all that is Holy Peter if you wake me up before 9am ever again I'm going to kill you!"

"Dude, schools starts at 7:45. You can't just skip classes," Peter reminds him.

"Watch me," he mutters. Peter shakes his head and laughs then motions for his brother and us to get in the car.

Levi and I take the back while Viva and Peter take the front seat.

Levi looks at me for a second like his eyes were adjusting and then started to laugh. "Twinkle Toes! Why are you here?"

"Um. My car broke down?" I say wondering why Peter hasn't told him this information yet.

"Well I'm glad you're here," he yawns, "I wanted to apologize for my brother calling you the wrong name."

I shrug when Peter says, "Wait what? I literally called her by her name, Thalia. Just 'cause I don't call her 'Twinkle Toes' doesn't-"

"It's Dalia?" I say in a small voice.

Peter pulls into a school parking lot quickly then turns back to look at me confused. "What?"

"She said her name is Dalia asshat!" Levi mutters in his half consciousness.

Peter slaps him in the thigh hard causing him to yell and it leaving a hand snapped red mark.

He got out of the car in one swift movement and we followed after.

"So, uh, thanks for the ride." I say as I turn around and walk away. I hear the boys arguing about something but I make sure I don't listen to what they were actually saying.

"So Peter and Levi," a voice says behind me. I roll my eyes and turn around to see Timothy.

Viva looks at me like she's about to burst out laughing. She covers her face with her oversized grey hoodie and walks away waving.

Timothy with brown eyes that are hard but melt your heart. And hair that sits perfectly on top his head in brown curls. Wow, he's so beautiful.

"Dalia?" He asks and I look him in the eye a blush creeping up my throat.

"Yeah, well um no. They are just my neighbors and they drove me to school. See my car broke down and Matthew, Viva's boyfriend is on a trip for Soccer, so we had no other choice."

"Well you always can call me you know."

"I didn't know you were a choice," I spluttered out before I caught myself and embarrassment came over me like the flu. Slowly then all at once.

He coughed and ran his hand through his hair. "Well call me whenever." He grabs a piece of notebook paper, fold it up, and writes his number down. He hands it to me with a smile and waves at his friends behind me and walks away.

My heart fluttered the entire day and my mind filled with thoughts of only Timothy.

Since I used my heart and my head. I didn't hear the laughs and jokes made behind me. That I would hate soon after.
