Chapter 1
Gillian's POV
Tinignan ko munang mabuti ang loob ng eroplano. Everyone is quite and sitting still minding their own business.
Nag-aalangan pa ako kung tutuloy ba akong pumasok o babalik at sawayin ang magaling kong ama na nagdala sa akin dito.
I don't know but I really don't want to go in that place. Besides, I don't need to. My skills and knowledge is already enough to run the business, the Silver company that my father runs.
"Mind if you don't block the way?"
I flinch a bit when someone suddenly spoke behind me and I realised I was blocking the door.
"Are you hesitating to come?"
I didn't answer him besides he didn't let me.
"You look like you are hesitating. But I understand what you feels since it's your first but don't worry too much. Aqua Land is a beautiful place."he smiles. As if he's proud of Aqua Land.
Tinignan ko lang siya pero umiwas din ako keeping myself not to roll my eyes.
Tumalikod ako at umupo sa may tabi ng bintana kung saan kita ko ang familiar black Range Rover ni Michael at si Michael mismo na nakasandal sa kaniyang sasakyan na pinagmamasdan niya itong eroplano.
I sighed and relaxed my head straight looking at the ceiling of the airplane and closed my eyes reminiscing what my father told me.
"I am sending you to train at Aqua Land. It's a better place to train you well."
My eyes widened on what my father had said. And I can't help myself to stand and raise my voice.
"What the hell! I am already trained. And why would I have to go in that isolated place?" I yelled.
My mother who was seating besides my father shoot me a death glare giving me a warning look that she usually do when she hates something we have done.
"Respect your father Gillian. Besides, what your father had said is right and to tell you, your training is not enough. You maybe smart, intelligent and gifted exactly what the company needs but you lack something that you can gain it in Aqua Land. "my mother said with her serious voice.
My mother is a former army surgeon and had a higher position that when she talks seriously, there's the sound of authority.
And I can't argue with my mother. So I clenched my fist and look down.
Then my father walks towards me tapping my shoulder.
"Don't think that we are underestimating you but we just need our heir to be great whom I can trust. And not only about me, but you have to be something better to gain the respect and trust of your people and your clients. Trust me dear, this is not just only producing products and all-business but it has something more and I want you to understand that this is important for your future." father explained with all his sincerity.
I remained looking at the floor. I understand him. I really do but...
"Then I'll train. But not Aqua Land." I said and this time, I look at my father with begging look hoping he'll agree.
"Aqua Land is far better. Trust me dear, it will help you a lot."
I want to argue and beg that I will train but not Aqua Land. Just any place whether it's a very dangerous place or whatsoever but I didn't since they decided already and they had uncle Clinton, a General who is a graduate of Aqua Land and he gave me some knowledge about Aqua Land and one is that we are required to pick a codename where it serves as our identity cover for a while and I haven't think of one yet.
"Excuse me?"
I opened my eyes when I heard someone talked disturbing my thoughts.
"Hi beautiful. I'm...call me Ace."he said and extended his hand at me but I just stared at him and give him an 'I'm-not-interested-look'.
And I guess Ace is not his name but rather his codename. He almost said his name though which I don't care anyway.
"May I sit here?"he asked with a smile and he didn't even waited for my answer but he sat up.
Why the need to ask then.
"So, what is your codename? "he asked with a lively voice.
He maybe think I'm attracted at him. But a big NO. I'm actually annoyed. Very annoyed.
He may had this hazel pair of eyes that my ideal type of eyes in men but I had already changed.
And what is he expecting? To make friends with me? Flirt with me? Well, I have no time and interest at him so I just closed my eyes and never talk. Well, I have never talked since I got in this airplane anyways.
"Attention recruits, we are now flying in five minutes." the intercom said and we all prepared ourselves.

Bigla akong nagising sa di maintindihang init na nararamdaman ko and I am feeling that I am already sweating.
My eyes fly open and I saw myself sitting uncomfortably inside the airplane.
It was warm...no, it was hot inside.
I feel like I'm being steamed.
There's this thick fog inside the airplane and it's freaking hot.
"Ugh!" I look at Ace who is suffering at the hot temperature and he's clothes are wet... Mine too. But he's not awake yet.
I quickly stood up then I realized that we are not moving or flying. We had already land but what the hell is happening?
Then a commotion happened when all of us in the airplane woke up and they are panicking. Even I, got a little scared and I rush to the door and opened it.
At the time the door was opened, I quickly jumped when I saw the others rushing to come out and I got almost sprain at my landing since theirs no stairs connected and it is two meters high.
Once I was outside, it feels heaven to me. The cold breeze touching my skin and blowing my wet hair and clothes is so refreshing.
I even closed my eyes, opening my arms letting the cold breeze to me.
And I bet everyone is doing the same.
It was just a few second though since I got interrupted by a high pitch whistle.
I opened my eyes and saw the familiar man standing just few meters from us with four random people aging 20s to 30s.
The man that was in charge to us in the airplane who leave us to get steamed alive, clapped three times and smiled. The same smile he showed me before.
"Welcome to Aqua Land."
