Painful Training First Mission

Forest's View:

Training was rather painful. Despite how perfect my aim was with target practice, hand to hand combat was not easy when using my wings. Nat tried everything to have me get used to using my wings, but they seemed to do things their own way. "Come on Forest, you need to try harder or you'll die!" Nat yelled. I groaned in pain, but got over it. I then thought of a tactic that I used in Hydra. I opened my wings and snapped them, making it look like I was getting ready to fly. She stepped back and I pounced on her. I then made it look like I was going to hit Nat, she hit the deck and I grabbed her feet, pining her to the ground. She yelped in pain. I released her and smiled. "When did you learn how to use your wings so aggressively?" Nat asked. "I learned it in Hydra as a scare tactic." I replied. "Well it scared me that's for sure." Nat said. "Sorry!" I said. "No it's perfect." She replied. 

"Agent Forest, I have a mission for you." Director Fury said while handing me the packet. "Agent Barton will accompany you. I need you to take this man out. He has been dealing weapons to Hydra. Good luck." Director Fury said while leaving. I looked at Nat and she was squealing like a girl who just went shopping. I ran upstairs and got into my combat suit. I grabbed two guns, four magazines, my bow and arrows. I met Clint on the jet just before take off. "You ready for you first mission little birdie?" Clint asked. "Nervous, but ready." I replied. 

After we landed, we found an abandoned building which we decided to stay in. I scanned the streets, but found no sign of our target. "Relax. I know that it's your first mission, but you should not get so tense at first. Save that tension for the combat." Clint said while hugging me from behind. I took some deep breaths and leaned into Clint. He smiled and became protective quickly. 

Two hours later I hear a scream. I rush to the window and see a small child being held a gun point. I fly down and take the bullet instead of her. I smile at the girl and break the man's neck in one swift kick. The girl runs up to me and thanks me. I quickly found the girl's mother and she was thankful that her daughter was found. I returned to the building that Clint and I were staying in and just as I flew in, Clint started yelling at me. "You could have died! Are you fuckin insane?" "No I'm not insane and yes I know that I could have died, but that little girl was about to get shot right infront of her mother
