Have you ever heard these words before?
"If Laura was here, she would have done it better."
"If Greg was here, he definitely will be better at this."
These statements crush every fiber of one's confidence. These statements send a heartbreaking burning spear to the heart.
Then you start asking these questions.
"Will I ever be enough?"
"What do I have to do to be like them?"
I'm going to tell you something today. It may seem crazy and absurd, but it's definitely the truth.
Don't try to be like them!
There is a huge difference between trying to be become a better person, and trying to be someone's shadow.
John Mason says:
You were born an original. Don't die a copy.

A shadow will always be wiped away from the picture as soon as light comes. Meaning that as soon as the person you're trying to imitate comes back into the picture, you completely go out of the picture.
It'll be like you never existed.
If you're your own person, you'll will always stand out. An original is always more valuable than a copy.

Always be a first rate version of yourself, and not a second rate version of someone else.

You're the sailor of your ship!
You're the pilot of your plane!
You're the driver of your bus!
Don't let anyone direct them for you!
Be confident in yourself!
Don't be anyone's shadow and you'll remain a champion.
Remember the power of the mind.
