Jamie felt heavier as I looked down. I'm so fucking screwed.

I took a deep breath and started down the tree. As soon as I stepped into the branch beneath me, Jamie began to slip off my back. "No the fuck you don't!" , I said, grabbing him before he could fall, but his weight and gravity mixed together made me fall, too. I flipped over in the air before we hit the ground and I took the brunt of the blow. The air was knocked out of my lungs from the impact and I gasped for breath.

I shoved Jamie off of me and got up, wincing when my left ankle nearly gave out. I ignored the pain as I lifted Jamie and started walking. I heard Shaun shout my name and I jerked in place. Fuck! I ran, going as fast as I could while carrying Jamie and ignoring my limp.

A huge tree loomed over all the other trees, and I took off towards it. I saw Jason loitering around at the bottom and called his name. "Hey! Jason!", I called, getting his attention. I ran past him, snagging his arm as I went past, and hid behind the huge tree. "Ally, follow me. My car is some where that way." , Jason said, pointing in a direction. I nodded and told him we had to hurry. Jason turned and dashed into the woods with me hot on his heels.

"Thanks for helping us, Ally. ", Jason said, helping me cram Jamie in the backseat. "It was against my will. Anyways, I really need to leave. I'm not coming to school. I don't need to deal with Pansy's shit right now. Hope I never see y'all again." , I said as I turned to leave. Jason shrugged as he got in and started the car. "Bye, Ally." , he said as he drove away. I huffed and turned back to the woods. Hopefully, Shaun will be asleep or something like that. Dead? I wish. Yeah, me too.

I took off in the direction of the house. I spotted it and ran faster, launching myself onto the porch. I opened the door and stopped running immediately. I was panting heavily, my mouth was dry and I couldn't get enough air. I swallowed and walked out of the kitchen. I headed upstairs, hoping to avoid anyone.

I don't think anyone is awake. What do you mean? I think everyone is...knocked out? What?! Yeah, I don't sense any movement, but I can feel the presence of four people, males to be exact. You can do that? Yes. Its a skill. Use it more, it'll come in handy when I want to avoid anyone. Okay, but you need to find everyone. Right. Wait. What? Someone is behind you. Turn around, and hold your hand up. Hurry.

I spun around and jerked my hand up, catching a fist. Duck! I ducked quickly and heard a thin object slice the air. Run! I didn't think twice and I ran, going to my room. Climb out the window. I kicked my window, breaking it, and I climbed out. How many people are in the house now? About seven? What the fuck is going on? I don't know, Ally. They're just walking around. I need to call the police. Ally, what about Howler? Good idea!

Are they in my room? Yes. You'll have to climb down the tree from before. Crud. Indeed. I ran past my window, headed to the tree I fell out of. I scrambled down it and ran to the fence that kept Howler from running away. I jumped over it and whistled. A ferocious back exploded from the worn down dog house and Howler shot out, running towards me. I ran away from her, leading her to the back door. An old piece of meat was on the table and I snatched it up. I knelt and held it out. "Come here girl." , I cooed, hoping to get her trust. She stopped running and growling. She sniffed the food and looked at me suspiciously. "It's okay. I won't hurt you." , I murmured. She sniffed the food and took a bite.
