She stood there staring at him
Wondering if there was even a way to approach
For whenever she sees him, her mind goes dim
Because one wrong word would cause him to reproach
So she just stood there, with an aching heart
Cause she yearned for him to notice her
Before she regretted everything cause he had to depart
For he had to transfer to another town and all her memories of him will just be a blur
Days and Months had passed, she only had one more day to be with him
For the day after, he had to leave
She tried to think of ways to confess even if it was on a whim
She had to achieve her goal before dismissal came even if failure was what she believed
The bell rang, she walked out of class
She went to the field because he was there
He was lying there on the flush, green grass
Oh how much she wished he would care
For her feelings were something he wouldn't remember
Because he had more problems than to reply her confession
He didn't have to because if he replied, her heart would be burning in ember
She just wanted to confess, not to ask for his feeling of her in a question
So she walked to him and gathered her courage
He watched her as she stuttered, not forming a single word
He saw her nervousness so he smiled to encourage
But it didn't work cause she thought that what she's doing is absurd
She then remembered he had to leave
This was her last and only chance
She thought she was silly because right now she's being naive
She accidentally blurted out the three words, she was shocked at what she did so she stood on a trance like stance
She was scared to look at him
He could be staring at her like she was crazy
But oh did she want to glance
At the same time dissapear and have her memories turn hazy
She couldn't get the courage so she ran
Even though he was calling out her name
She was too scared of his answer that she slipped because of a tin can
While on the ground, she then cried because she took too much shame
Without knowing, he walked to her and helped her up
She was shocked at the same time, blushing because of the close up
When she stood, he just smiled and walked away
She then felt like wanting for him to stay
Even though her feelings weren't answered
She still wanted him to stay because of how much her heart yearned
But there was nothing she could do cause she can't control her cruel fate
All she could do was yearn for his return and await
So that was how one of her love story ended
With her heart slowly being mended
