Art... is hard. And it's impossible to be good when you first start. So, IM SHOWING YOU GUYS OLD AF ART I HAVE AND SHOWING YOU THE REDRAWS. ITS GONNA BE L I T
Alright, the first one! Here, we have a crying girl with black eyes because E D G E. And yes... I did have a Minecraft style in middle school. I am shamed. The one on the far side was drawn... seventh grade I think? And the other one was freshmen year of high school. (Ignore the picture above... you don't wanna see that.) but, here's the redraw!
She now has more expression instead of just a crying smiling girl. And the tears are better.
Nex up, a progression of mermaid art!
I loved drawing mermaids because I didn't have to do legs. I don't really have much to say except I probably drew the first one on the right in seventh grade, the middle eighth, and the last a bit later in either grade.
In the redraw she shows much more emotion, and her body is more fluid and mermaid like.
Next... a ghost bride I think? I don't know, it was edgy so I guess I had to draw it. Both were sometime in seventh grade.
For the redraw
I made her sadder, kinda like she died on her wedding day and is forever grieving.
What I'm trying to show with these pictures is that you don't start out drawing masterpieces, and even though I've improved, I still have much to work on. (Body poses are a B i t c h) but I've gotten much better than when I first started. So, practice makes perfect.
As well as selling your soul to Satan.
And looking at hundreds of references.
And dying inside.
And suffering.
And giving up your life.
And looking at references.
And practice.
And looking at references.Did I mention looking at references?
