Unforgettable Bond

Chapter 4

~Aria's P.O.V~

My eyes flutter open. I look around confused. I see Adrian talking to someone, but their back is turned so I can't see who, but they seem so familiar.

"A-Adrian?" I whisper. They both tense up. The other male turns around, and it all comes back.

"A-Andy?" I ask again. Even he has tears in his eyes.

"Hey little bug." He whispers. I jump out of bed, into his arms, sobbing.

"I-I thought I lost you. I missed you." I sob out.

"I-I missed you too." He chokes out. I just sit in his arms, crying, and Adrian gives us space,and I assume he knows.

"Where is your friend? I think his name was Nathan?" Adrian lets out a growl.

"Hush." I say playfully. Then turn serious. "And, I don't know..." I whisper sadly.

"Oh." He says.

"So, you are my sister's mate?" Andy asks Adrian.

"Yes." He says proudly. But what Andy did next, wiped the smirk right off of Adrian's face, and made me laugh.

"You may be my alpha, but when it comes to family, and mates -as you should know- all of that goes out the window. If you hurt her, I will kill you with my bare hands. Are we clear?"

"You may be protecting your sister, but I am not scared of you, PUP. Keep that in mind before threatening your alpha."

"Well, you may be my alpha, but you do not scare me. What if your sister got a mate, that is an Alpha, and you were just a Beta? When it comes to family, nothing scares you." Andy says, not backing down.

"Okay darlings, that's enough." I say stepping in, before stuff goes down, and it won't be good. I direct my attention to Andy.

"Andy, calme-toi, il te combattra, je comprends que tu me protèges, mais il est toujours ton Alpha."

"Oui, Aria, il est mon alpha, mais tu es toujours ma petite sœur, et j'ai l'intention de ne plus te laisser partir et de te protéger de ma vie."

"Je t'aime grand frère."

"Je t'aime aussi, petite soeur." Adrian looks at us, confused.

"You use Italian all the time, if I want to talk to my brother in French, I will." I say, leaving no room for questions to be asked. He puts his hand up in mock surrender.

"Mi dispiace amore mio."

"All I caught was my love, because of how often you say it."

"I said, 'I'm sorry my love.'" I smile softly. There is a sudden knock at the door.

"Come in Antonio." I look at Adrian confused.

"Antonio is the Delta." I make an 'o' shape with my mouth, and I nod. Antonio supposedly walks in, and he looks distraught.

"A-Alpha, L-Luna?"

"Yes?" We say in sync. But what he says next, makes me stop in shock.

"Some guy, named Nathan is here, to see the Luna. Said they were friends, I don't know, he's at the border." Whether or not, it is him or not, I bolt out of the door, and outside, and run straight to the border. When I see who it is, I leap into his arms, hugging, the friend I thought I once lost.

My whole body is racked with sobs, as I hug my once best friend. I hear two growls. One from Andy, and one from Adrian. But they were two different types of growls. I unlatch myself from Nathan, and turn around confused. Tears running down my face, Adrian pulls me into him, and Andy, looks at Nathan, and they both look really confused. I look at Adrian, who looks just as confused. I look from Nathan, and Andy, back and forth, and then I gasp in shock.

"Oh, my, blueberries." I say.

"What?" Adrian says confused. I quiet him instantly.

"Watch." I say, confused, yet intrigued. They stare at each other, lost in their own world. They slowly inch towards each other. I hear them both muutter the one word that confirmed my suspicions.

'Mate.' They whispered.
