To begin with, what is a zombie?
A typical zombie would be defined as an animated corpse that feeds on living flesh. Thanks to modern interpretations however, zombies have developed an amazing range of characteristics. From Telltale's slow, mindless walkers to Naughty Dog's diverse assortment of runners, stalkers, clickers and bloaters. This book will offer the very basics to the road for survival but I hope they'll help one day, should it come down to it.
How does one detect a zombie outbreak?
The sooner you detect the signs of an impending apocalypse, the better your chances of survival are. If you happen to catch something strange in the media, for example riots, homicides in which the victims were executed via decapitation or head shots, or even if the statistics for disease-based death were to suddenly increase, keep an eye on the responses. If the government or law enforcement begin to act more forcefully then the chances are that an apocalypse is unfolding.
