I woke up wrapped up in soft cotton and silk sheets, the cool beach breeze poured into my room from my opened balcony doors. I never wanted to get out of bed, it was peaceful and nothing could hurt me here. Although I wouldn't mind waking up next to someone every day. Feeling a pair of strong arms wrapped around me, his soft breaths on my neck, and waking him up with kisses. The thought made me bury my face in the pillow, smile and giggle like a school girl.

"Lucas! Get up, its time to eat!.

*sigh*

"So much for staying in bed all day"

I eventually rolled myself out of bed, and went straight to the bathroom, for the obvious reason. As soon as I was finished with my business, I made my way down stairs and into the massive dinning room and kitchen area. The dining table was already preset with three place mats and glasses of orange juice.

"Good morning Hun." My mom said walking into the room with a tray full of food.

"Morning Mom, whats for breakfast?"

Just then a couple of women in maid outfits walk in with even more food. I could hear my stomach start to eat itself as I seen more and more food come in. Then I felt a strong hand start to mess up my already bed head hair. Already knowing it was my grandfather, I turned my head and looked up at him.

"So whatcha think Luke? Did I do a good job with breakfast or what?!"

I glanced back at the table filled with food and then back at him and nodded.

"This looks amazing grandpa! Everything looks so delicious, but how did you get all of this and the maids?"

Grandpa chuckled.

"I cant believe you don't remember, I own a chain of ice cream shops through out the entire country. In fact I make so much in a year alone, this house is only one out of the four I own. Plus my country home in the Netherlands."

My jaw was open so wide, you could fit a whole family plus a dog in there. The Netherlands?! Four houses?! How did I not know about this before?

"But enough about the money and houses, I have a surprise for you. You see before you guys moved, I knew that if you were anything like your mother, you hate not working."

He was right, I had 3 jobs at one point so I wouldn't be stuck at home all the time. Not that I didn't like home or anything, I just didn't like the idea of being a homebody all my life. I had many friends back in Florida, but none were close enough for me to really care about when I left.

"So I got you a job at one of my ice cream parlors right on the boardwalk. I figure you can make your own hours and choose what you want to work as."

I could literally feel the biggest smile creep on my face. This was an amazing opportunity. I wouldn't be stuck here in this gorgeous house, mourning over my sister all the time. I would have a reason to be able to leave the house for a while.

"Ill take it! Thank you so so much Grandpa!"

"No problem, Luke. But your orientation starts in about..." He glances at his watch. " 1 hour, so get you something to eat and go back upstairs and make yourself presentable and professional looking."

I nodded and grabbed the first couple things I seen on the table onto my plate. Bacon, Waffles and fried potatoes, they were gone with in 10 minutes. Once I was done I left my plate and ran upstairs as fast as my legs could go. Once in my room I picked out an outfit in less than a minute. That was a perk of being gay, most of us could pick out an outfit and it would look fabulous regardless. I decided on a pair of blue loose fitting skinny jeans, a white elbow length shirt with a grey cardigan over it, a grey and blue scarf, and my favorite pair of tan Spectors. After making sure my outfit was on point, I went straight to the bathroom, brushed my teeth like a mad man and got out my trimmers. I trimmed up the sides of my hair and grabbed my giant can of hair spray and styled my hair into a Pompadour. Once my hair was finished I went and double checked my look, and i couldn't help but grin.

"Lucas! Are you ready?" I heard from downstairs.

"Coming!"

As I walked down the stairs, one of the maids gave me a smile and handed me a set of keys. I raised an eyebrow, looked at the keys and then at her with a puzzled look.

"What are these for?"

"To your new car sir, I was told by master Al to give those to you and to go into the garage."

I raised both my eyebrows at the keys and looked at her again, giving her a smile.

"Why thank you Ms...?"

"Ms. Adams, but you can call me Nicole if you'd like. That's what master Al calls me."

"Oh well then, thank you Nicole. Ill get going now."

She said her goodbyes as I walked outside and around to the massive garage. How could this man make so much money, just from an ice cream parlor? Once I got closer, grandpa came out with a big cheeky grin on his face.

"I see Nicole gave you the keys, would you like to see your car?"

My eyes went wide. "M-my new car?!"

Grandpa took a step to the side and reveled a 1969 Chevy black Camaro, with black leather seats and a working radio. I felt like a little kid and ran up to the car, gently touching it and kissed the hood. I cant believe I have this beautiful looking car to drive everywhere. I could die happy right now.

"So do you like it Luke?" Grandpa chuckled.

"Like it?! I love it! Its beautiful, the paint is flawless and the interior is perfect. Thank you!"

Grandpa laughed and patted my back.

"Well how about you drive it to the boardwalk and Ill meet you there to show you the parlor?" He pointed to the pier just down the road from us.

I nodded in excitement and jumped in the car feeling the leather seats underneath me adjust to my weight. As I turned on the car, the engine roared to life, making me laugh like a crazy lady. I revved it a few times before putting it in reverse and backing out of the drive way, dodging the moving truck and drove towards town. I rolled down the windows and let the salty ocean air fill my car, and turned on the radio, screaming in excitement when one of my favorite songs came on.

All I am, is a man

I want the world in my hand

i hate the beach, but I stay in California with my toes in the sand

Use the sleeves on my sweater, lets have an adventure

Head in the clouds but my gravity centered

Touch my neck and ill touch yours

You in those little high wasted shorts

Ohhh...

I sang all the way to the board walk, and once I got there I noticed how busy it was. I turned down my music and drove carefully past some pedestrians. Not that I was worried i would hit them, but if anyone scratched or dented my new car, I would strangle them and throw the dead bodies into the shark infested water. I finally found a parking spot close to the main entrance, as I got out of my car I got a strong scent of fried food and tanning lotion. After I locked my car, I made my way up to the enterance way and looked down the 4 mile board walk.

*sigh*

" Looks like Ill be walking a while..."

As I started to walk, I took out my iPhone and my headphones putting on one of my iTunes radio stations. Cool Kids by Ecosmith filled my ears within seconds, and I started humming with it, looking for the parlor. As I walked further down I noticed the smell of fresh pretzels start to rape my nostrils. I needed to try one of these delicious smelling pretzels, and the further i went the smell grew stronger. Then I seen a giant pretzel sign just a head of me and I speed walked to the stand, and stood in line with a couple people in front of me.  As i waited, my phone became my entertainment as I started to play a new game of 2048. Just as I was about to beat my high score I felt eyes on me, and when I looked up the guy that was working the stand was staring at me.
