Over the next two months, you and Sebastian had continued to text back and forth and talk on the phone. It was a natural friendship, but with Chris and Seb's filming schedule and with you getting your life back in order, you still had yet to see him again.
Your birthday was coming up, and some friends had decided to take you out and while Sebastian couldn't make it out due to his filming schedule, Chris flew out just for the weekend to make it. He brought Mackie with him as his travel buddy, and you smirked as they both came into the bar as your few female friends swarmed around them. You had cut ties with most of your old friends and decided that your friends from work were much more reliable and less dramatic. Being a book editor was your dream job, and you loved your coworkers. All in all, life was amazing and going in the right direction.
Your phone chimed, and you smiled as you had gotten a message from Seb with a cute selfie. He looked cranky.
Seb- Sorry I'm missing your party, love.
You- It's ok. But you can probably expect a few drunken messages later. I know everyone is planning on getting me toasted.
Seb- Like last time?
.....
You- Hopefully not as bad. LOL.
Seb- Good. I'm not there, and I'll be worried about you all night.
You- How about this. I'll keep you posted all night AND I'll call you later?
Seb- I'll hold you to it, doll.
Damn, the things you wanted him to hold you to. You were blushing and Mackie nudged your side and your friend Heather looked over your shoulder at your phone. "Holy shit. Is that your boyfriend? He is gorgeous." Mackie laughed as you put your phone down and fumbled a bit.
"Nah, they are both just in denial. It's embarrassing really." You rolled your eyes and tossed him a glare. "Shut up, Mackie! We're just friends." He smiled and took a drink of his beer. "Hey, I don't talk about my friends like he does you. Hell, the man's screensaver is a picture of you and him the first-night you two met."
Your stupid heart picked up speed at the new Intel and you're sure as shit your face betrayed you by the way Heather and Mackie were staring. Chris came over with another shot for the table.
"Did you two break my friend?" He sat the shot down to which you immediately took yours and then his, and his brow shot up. "Um, what's going on." Mackie giggled, asshat. "I may have just dropped the bomb that Seb has the hots for our dear Bostonian here." Chris sat down and took a picture of you.
"What the hell, Chris?!" He laughed. "Just want to keep this for Sebastian when I see him next. "Don't you dare Evans. I have enough dirty laundry on you and a very interested Mackie right here." He faces paled and he conceded. "Alright. Alright. You win. But the guy does like you, that's all I'll say."
