Friday came sooner then I thought. Carter wasn't at school. She didn't show up. I tried calling her, but her phone went straight to voicemail. Harry didn't show up either, but that wan't much of a surprise. He barely came to school anyways. I was getting worried. What if Harry was with Carter. I know Carter is not one of those type of girls, but I know Harry well enough to know that he could be with her. I called Harry, asking him if he knew about where Carter could possibly be. He said the last time he saw her was last night.

A bit of jealousy rose up in my chest. He was with her last night, no telling what they were doing. I was at her house last night, becuase she left her mp3 player at the park. It was a bit late, so I rang the door bell, no answer. I knew they went out. Last thing I knew, Harry was carrying a laughing Carter into the house. I held back the tears that were threatening to come out. I hung up the phone.

Running out of the school, I ran to Carter's house. I tried ringing the doorbell, no answer. I climbed the tree up to her bedroom window, I saw her laying in her bed, sleeping. I knocked on the window softly. Her eyes fluttered open, revealing the beutiful shade of ocean blue. I waved to her. She got up, sleepily, opening the window for me to get in.

"What are you doing here Niall?" she groaned.

"Remember, we were supposed to hang out today." The bruise on her neck immediately drew my attention.

"I'm so sorry Niall, I forgot." she dropped herself back on her bed.

"Carter, are you okay?" I took a few steps closer to her, sitting on the bed next to her.

"Yeah, I'm just tired." she barely responded.

I put one finger on the bruise on her neck and she winced.

"Carter, what happened?" I asked, clearly knowing the answer.

"Oh, that's nothing." she said, covering it with a pillow.

"I don't know, my head hurts." she whined.

"Are you sure you're going to be okay? " I asked, worried for her well being.

"Mhmm." she moaned from her pillow.

"Okay, you're right. I better get going and let you rest." I whispered, planting a soft kiss on her forehead.

She fell asleep and I climbed back out the window, closing it behind me. I was beyond pissed at the fact that Harry put his hands on her. He slept with her, and that was too much to bear. He knew how I felt about her, yet he continues to do the same thing over and over.

I walked back to school, knowing Harry would be there for soccer practice today. I got there, up just as him and his friends were leaving.

I walked up to him, furious. He looked at me and snickered. He ignored me. I walked up and pushed him, he fell. I drew the attention of his friends. He got back up pushing me against his car. My fist flew up and met his jaw, distracting him for a second. I kept punching and sooner or later, he was on the ground, his nose bleeding. His phone was ringing. He put his hands up, surrendering. He pulled out the black iPhone, looking at the caller ID.

"Hold on, it's my girlfriend calling." he said, showing me the name on the screen.

'Carter' it read. He knew that this would piss me off. And, it did. I ran home, tears in my eyes, wanting so badly to fall out. Carter doesn't want me. It was obvious. She was hanging around Harry so much. I got home, going straight to bed, my only way to get away from the world. My mom tried to speak to me, but I ignored her, shutting my eyes tighter. Talking about it would only make it worse.
