"Come on Aurora ! Keep up !" , Calum said running towards a big oak tree.
"I'm trying ! You know I'm not good at running" , Aurora yelled back , she had been a little chubby for as long as she could remember.
Although she had a lot of growing to do. She was only 10.
Calum climbed up the oak tree and sat on a branch. He waited for Aurora.
Aurora caught up and climbed up the tree.
"I wish I was skinny like you Calum , I wouldn't have to run out of breathe every time I run", Aurora said catching her breathe.
" I like you the way you are Aurora , you don't have to change" , Calum said smiling.
That made Aurora feel better.
Aurora and Calum sat on the branch for hours watching the sunset.
Never wanting another great day like this one to end.
They were best friends since Aurora had moved next door 3 years ago.
"Aurora look what i have" , Calum said with a mischievous smile as he pulled out a pocket knife.
"Calum why do you have that , that's dangerous you can hurt yourself".
"Don't worry , look what I'm gonna do".
Calum started to carve AT + CH into the tree.
"Now you draw a heart around it".
Aurora started to carve a heart around their initials.
"This is for when we get married by this tree and show everyone that we have been in love since we were very little", Calum said smiling ear to ear.
"Aww cal" , Aurora said blushing then giving Calum a kiss on the cheek.
