"Ugh, its so boring here," Toni grumbled. She was still confined to bed rest, as she still wasn't fully healed from the accident just yet. "I'm sorry. i know how much you wanna go home." Cheryl tried to stifle a yawn, but she couldn't fool Toni that easily. "Cher, your'e exhausted, go home and get some sleep." Toni begged. "I don't wanna leave you, and besides I don't really have a home to go back to anymore. I'm still waiting for a meeting with Josie's mom to get me emancipated." Said Cheryl. "At least we have Netflix" The two lay there, watching the TV. They had seen the show so many times, but it was still the one they loved to watch when one was upset, or not feeling well. being stuck in the hospital counted as not felling well.

Colour me terrified, colour me proud, colour me anxious to say it out loud, colour me gratified, colour me fine, colour me happy, as long as you're mine.

Eventually, Toni turned to Cheryl. "you have a meeting, you should really go." Toni said, sitting up. "OK OK, ill go." she agreed.

"Well, i think with that, your mother is no longer a legal guardian of you. Congratulations, Cheryl." Sierra said. "Thank, you so much, Attorney McCoy. Now that their stranglehold on my life gone, i can finally be happy without her demonic presence around." "Well, i will get these papers signed, and off to your mother." It was done. Cheryl Blossom was no longer under the abusive, controlling thumb of Penelope.

When Cheryl got back, she found Toni, upset and crying. "Hey, babe whats wrong?" "i-i just, feel so bad your'e always here, but i cant do anything back for you." She broke down, "and, and I'm really scared, i don't want to be here and scared and hurt. None of this is fair." She sobbed. "I can make no promises that i wont break, call it my mistake. And i can't ever watch you being scared, Iv'e learned that love don't fight fair" Cheryl sang. Toni had rarely gotten like this, but when she did, music helped. and eventually, Toni joined, as she always did. The relationship was balanced. the two both had their shit to deal with, but as long as they had the other, they wouldn't deal with it alone.

After another two weeks, Toni was finally able to leave and go back home. Toni was done with her uncle. He never cared for her.

The two girls dropped the bags in the entry way of Thornhill, kissing. "Welcome to your home." Cheryl said, holding Toni close. "Is that really smart?" Toni asked. "Who cares," Cheryl whispered, kissing the girl again.

Cheryl still couldn't believe her luck after all this time. She had fallen for the girl from the wrong side of the tracks, and loved her. Not her mother, not homophobia, not the craziness in Riverdale could stop them now. This was love. This was real. This was forever. Cheryl had decided to jump headfirst, and never regretted a second of it.
