A Tricky Fox's Tricky Trick

  This will feature an OC of mine who I've planted into this story to... help it along, per say. His name is Mizu Dawn and that'll be all I disclose of him.

  Mizu Dawn was minding his own business napping when he heard the bell ring from Twilight's hand. Not having to think long on a trick to pull he slips out through window and sneak around to see who it was. 

  He was expecting Celestia and Luna whom would visit on a rare occasion to clear her mind and have a wise being to talk to, especially in concern of magic based in the mind. Hence forth why Celestia suggested him to Twilight. 

  After his surprise at seeing a new comer at his front door he with drew his plans for his prank and decided to think of a new one before this new person left. He climbed threw the window again silently and rushed to the door.

  Mizu Dawn is a 5 foot tall male human-fox. He had 9 tails though hides eight of them until sufficient trust is gained. His fur and hair are a golden color and his fox ears and tails are tipped black. his outfit changes upon what illusion he casts to effect its appearance. In reality it is a white loose fitting robe but he often makes it look like a orange undershirt with formal black attire for his lower body and feet.

  He opened the door to be greeted by a impatient Twilight who soon turned her expression to surprise seeing the person she was meeting wasn't even human. "May I help you Ma'am?" Mizu said ignoring her obvious shock.

  "O-oh Hello! Um, Mis-" "Celestia sent you?" Mizu said completing her sentence. Twilight was caught off guard and hadn't yet grasped herself when she was asked that question. "Yes, yes, come in. I sure there isn't many reason why she would send you here of all places." Mizu said faking offence to Twilight's shocked expression when she first saw him, he turned and walked inside leaving Twilight to climb the steps implanted into the tree leading up to a ladder and to the trap door.

  "So what mental problem is it, I can see your distraught over something but I ain't purging into your mind to find out." Mizu said sitting down before a carven table in a rocking chair noticing a little bit of confusion hidden behind her eyes beyond seeing him.

  Mizu was always like this, though he loved to play around and pull tricks. Ultimately he took many things seriously. This was no exception, he new Twilight was sent here by Celestia because he was forewarned about it at the beginning of the day when he presumed Celestia told her of him. It only took a handful of hours to get to Mizu's location if they knew where to look, and Mizu only led people to his home if they also looked distraught, lost, or heartbroken.

  When Celestia came by, for example, she was troubled about Sunset and took a trip to the forest to clear her mind away from the various noises that occur in town. Luna later came hearing from her sister in seek of slice of wisdom to offer students if they had magic based problems, at least in terms of magic lingering in the mind. In terms of purging into minds Mizu just uses that as a joke, He isn't capable of using much magic sense he came to the world he is in now.

  "O-oh straight to it huh?" Twilight answered taken aback, she reluctantly sat down and explained everything and offered names. "Celestia sent me a letter already explaining you'd be coming for aid, Miss Twilight. You may call me Mizu Dawn." Twilight nodded and answered. "Twilight Sparkle." "Dooly noted." Mizu said expecting another visit concerning her to come later, though he is expecting Twilight herself.

  "So, Miss Twilight. What is it plaguing you?" Mizu said starting to break down the situation.

  "Well I had this dream concerning a friend of mine..."

  "Alright."

  "I was running after her, she said she was leaving." Mizu nodded

  "Then after a while I grew so frustrated and..."

  "Disregarded: To feel ignored? undervalued?" Mizu added in hopes one of the two was close. having dealt with a similar feeling himself.

  "Both yeah... Then after a while I finally reached her she caught me and met eyes."

  "Continue." Mizu said expecting more.

  "Thats when I snapped awake." Mizu closed his eyes to think about it in whole.

  "Yep, you in love." Mizu said bluntly "WHAT!!!" Twilight yelled refusing to believe it though deep down she does.

  "Joking." Mizu throwing a teasing smile. Twilight passed a relieved sigh. "Or am I?" Mizu pressed his tease to force the girl to think. before Twilight could reply. "I've said enough, you may barrow my guess bedroom for the night and go home the morning." He said getting up and quickly leaving. Leaving Twilight to her thoughts with a baffled expression.

  "Okay?..." Twilight gave up right then and there noticing it has been getting late, too late to get home before midnight, and while the conversation was considerably short in terms of counselling Mizu also wasted no time. She got up. "Door behind you!" Mizu said from his bedroom, before Twilight could ask. Rather he was held that out for dramatic effect or it pasted his mind up until that point and just shouted it out before he forgot again.

  When she entered the room it was much like the room Pony Twilight had when she lived in her library. Books neatly arranged, though in a strange writing seemingly not at all English or Ponish. Not paying it any mind she climbed into bed without much complaint and laid back. Her mind dragging her consciousness well through the night. What did he mean 'he said enough' he barely said anything... 

She would continue to think until she passed out that night... 

Later the next day Twilight would ask before she left while unbeknownst to her Sunset would visit Mizu that same day... 

Mizu planning a trick before he went to bed as a goodbye while he was trying to sleep as well...

  

  Whew a little over 1000 words. I'm getting there, slowly but surely to a proper writing level. Hope the addition of an OC wasn't too intrusive. just thought he'd make a good plot devise to aid my writing.
