Katie woke up with a start and Nearly fell of her bed. Was that a dream, she thought. 'Katie, Time for school' screamed her Mum from the kitchen. Well I definitely started school then she thought. Katie got up quickly and went to get ready. As she got out of the bathroom she got a glint of red in the mirror but Katie hated that colour and there was absolutely nothing in her room for the mirror to reflect. Katie vaguely got reminded of the school's cheer leading uniforms. Katie went and looked out the window but it was oddly quiet. No kids or dogs running around. The sun was shining and the leaves on the tree near Katie's window rustling lazyily to the soft breeze.

Katie went to get ready and when she opened her wardrobe, out fell a shirt. "OMG" she gasped, it was covered in blood. And when Katie looked at the shirt closely saw that it was the same shirt Sophie was wearing yesterday. Katie wrapped the shirt in a plastic bag and put it in her schoolbag before getting ready and rushing to school.

'I have to talk to you' Katie was at Rose's locker. It was lunch time. She pulled out the blood stained shirt and showed it to her. There was no expression on Rose's face. 'I suggest you wash it' she said and pushed past Katie to class. Katie just stood their gormless. What on earth is going on? She thought. Suddenly a loud ringing sound filled the halls. A fire Alarm? on the second day of school? Many heavy footsteps could be heard. A stampede of students were running towards the exits.Katie just stood flattened out against her locker while students rushed past her. "What are you doing?" Katie's friend grabbed her arm. "We have to get out of here!"
