Chapter Four

Alex's POV:

After we were done with our argument and Zain walked out of the room, I followed him all the way to the downstairs where our parents were planning about various things.

"You guys are here..look we have already planned out the date. The wedding is in a week!" Zain's mom squealed

Zain just nodded his head without even taking a look at me and I just smiled at them

A week huh? Well nothing matters anymore now! My life is already going to be a living hell!

"Bro? I thought you will get me a pretty sister-in-law but you got me a handsome brother-in-law instead.
But I must say I'm impressed!" Jonas said happily

I never told my parents anything about the bullying I  had to tolerate when I was young.

I thought I would make a fresh start. I even tried but little had I known that my nightmare will come back to haunt me!

"Alright then! We will be leaving now." Zain's mom said as she got up from her seat

"Okay. Take care mom." I said and she gave me a hug
Zain's parents are such nice people, I wonder how did he got the devilish genes?

"I really can't wait for the day when I finally see you as my son-in-law. It's the first time I met you and I must admit I have already got attached." She said

"Time to go now." Zain's dad said to his wife and then walked to me and patted my back.
"And see you soon Alex! No..my dear son-in-law." He chuckled

"C'mon.. Zain? Say bye to your fiance." His mother asked him who was standing in the corner
I can already see clearly in his face that how desperate he is to get out my house

"Yeah..bye." he mumbled but suddenly was cut off by his dad's stare
He's the same as me

But this time instead of saying a proper goodbye, he just walked towards me and grabbed me by my waist.
I was surprised and so was everyone.

"W..what?" Before I could say anything more, Zain locked my lips with his
I tried to open my mouth to speak which gave him the access to push his tongue in.

I hate to admit but he sure is a good kisser. I wanted to push him away but I was in front of everyone.

I was shocked. Why is Zain kissing me like this in front of everyone? Didn't he just made me cry few minutes ago?

I was so embarrassed. I tried to break from the kiss but it only got deeper.
Has this guy forgotten that we are in front of our parents?

Soon I could hear the squealing of my mom and finally Zain had broken the kiss.

I wobbled as I gasped for breath and fell into Zain's arms
"This is only a display. I have to make my parents trust me.
Don't get too full of yourself. Try uttering a fucking word and you are so dead!" He whispered in my ear and then kissed my cheek

"Bye love! Can't wait to see you next time." He said and ruffled my hair
"Wow! They are already so lovely dovey!" His mom said happily
"Seems like it." His dad said with a pleased expression

Soon they were done bidding their good-byes, the left.

"I can see you are doing well. Good job!" My dad patted my back
I just rolled my eyes

"Bro! Wow! Like WOW! You guys kissed and that too on the very first day in front everyone." Jonas chirped

"There's nothing good about it and I'm tired so i'm going to my room." I said and left the place

After reaching my room, I shut the door.
Shit! My heart is racing like crazy. Why the hell did he have to kiss me like that?

I could still feel the warm lingering touch on my lips.
I punched the pillow as I tried to shake these thoughts of him.

This is all just an act!
Only if everyone knew how this Zain actually is!
