Normal POV:
Maria rushed into her dorm quickly closing the door making Tikal jump "woah, what's up? You look.. Frightened"
Maria paced around holding her head seeming to be murmuring something "Maria?.." "I HIT HIM"
Tikal stumbled backwards "H-hit who?? What happened?" "I-I ran over Shadow.. With my car" Tikal's eyes widened and looked at Maria in horror
"Wh-why?? How?!" Tikal took a hold of Maria "I-I was drunk and I wasn't paying attention.."
Flashback
Maria gritted her teeth and gripped on the steering wheel. She spotted two figures ahead "Amy..." Her whole body quivered in fury as she stepped on the gas petal going off the speed limit "You're going to pay!" She yelled
She felt a body roll over her car and landed with a loud "thud" Maria turned back but to see that she has missed her target and got Shadow
End of flashback
Maria teared up and began to sob "I-I-I didn't mean to hurt him.. It wasn't my fault!" Tikal patted Maria's shoulder and sighed "but you still did it.. You have to pay the consequences now Maria..." "C-consequences?? I-I'm not going to Jail!" "If he dies, you're in BIG trouble.. So you better hope that he doesn't"
Maria backed away and headed towards the door "where are you going?!" "I-I'm running away! Far far away from HERE!""MARIA!!"
Maria ran out of the dorm and straight to her Car. She quickly turned it on and drifted away driving along the dark rocky path.
"Help!! Help! Someone please help me!" Amy yelled as she stummbled inside a hospital with Shadow on her back "Quick! We got two injured people!" Nurses came rushing picking up Shadow and Amy and placing them both on seperate beds
Tears fell from the side of Amy's eyes as she slowly closed them and went off into a deep sleep.
"We're losing him!" "Hurry up!!" A long beep was heard in the room and everyone went silent. Amy woke up and looked at everyone who seemed sad. "What's going on?" She faintly said
"We're sorry miss.." "Sorry?!" Amy jumped out of her bed and rushed over to Shadow's "No, he's not dead! W-we can save him!"
"Ma'am please.." "NO!" Amy fell to her knees and sobbed right next to Shadow holding his hand tightly "Don't leave me Shadow.. W-we were going to stay happy together and live life together you can't do this to me!"
A nurse walked up to Amy and set her hand on Amy's shoulder "We're sorry.." Amy looked at the nurse with teary eyes "C-can I have some alone time?.." Everyone in the room nodded and quickly left the room
"Shadow... Please, come back.." She slowly kissed Shadow knowing it was her last one from him. Tears rolled down her cheeks falling onto him. She stepped back and knelt besides his bed not letting go of his hand quietly sobbing.
While Amy was sobbing a beeping noise was echoed around the room. She felt warmth coming back to Shadow's hand and she lifted her head up.
"A pulse.." Amy jumped to her feet and yelled for the doctors "A Pulse!!" A few doctors came rushing back in and escorted Amy out of the room to wait in the waiting room.
Few minutes has passed by and Amy was finally able to re-enter the room "Will he be okay?.." The doctor smiled at Amy and nodded her head "Yes he'll be fine now, you can go visit him again"
Amy smiled with joy as tears flowed out of her eyes "Thank you.." She rushed inside the room and saw Shadow sitting up on his bed while a male doctor was checking his blood
"Shadow.." The male doctor stood up and escorted himself out the room leaving both of them alone "Rose..?"
"Shadow!" Amy jumped on top of shadow and tightly hugged him as she cried into his chest "Y-you're o-okay!" Shadow placed his hand on Amy's head "Why wouldn't I be?" "You idiot! I-I thought you left me for good! I-I saw your pulse disappear and-and I didn't know what to do-" "Amy.. It's okay, I'm here.. I'm here"
Amy cried harder as Shadow tried calming her down. Eventually Amy fell asleep in his arms and they stayed like this until morning
