*A/N*(F/P=Favorite prey)
You wrinkled your nose as you rubbed the mouse bile on Mousefur's ticks. "All right, Im finished." you mewed pulling off the last tick.
"It's about time, now go wash your paws, I don't want the camp to smell like bile." Mousefur grouched laying beside Purdy.
You smiled thoughtfully and hurried to the nearest stream to wash your paws.
You heard someone chuckle and quickly looked up only to see Firestar.
"Mousefur's way of saying thank you, go wash your paws you smell." he smiled
"Yes but I know that she is grateful." you add smirking as you stepped out of the stream.
"Of course, so are you sure you don't want an apprentice yet?" he muttered looking up at you
"Yes Firestar im sure, Im just not prepared yet for the responsibility." you answer sitting next to him.
You felt him stiffen and his fur rised a bit.
"I-im sorry Y/N I have to go, leader duties you know..." he mewed padding back into camp with his tail down.
"What was that about?" your murmur to yourself.

You yawn, stretching out of your nest and breathing in the strong scents of herbs.
You walk slowly out of the medicine den and into the clearing. Sighing with relief as the sun shone warmly on your F/C pelt, an the wind ruffling it gently.
You grabbed F/P, and decided to lay on a warm rock to eat it.
As you finish you glance up to see a green pair of eyes watching you, just as quickly as you notice him, he looks away.
You stand up and leap off the rock, slowly padding towards Firestar's den.
Ahem "Firestar may come in?" you ask
"Y/N of course...always." he mews from inside the den. You step in, letting your eyes adjust to the slight darkness you see Firestar.
"Firestar are you alright? " you stand in front of him.
"Physically yes....mentally Im unsure." he sighed
"Oh, please let me help you...tell me and we can figure this out." you look at him sympathetically.
"Well first my mate left me for another...after she had her kits Squirrelkit and Leafkit. Then Im going to have to watch the light in their eyes turn into hatred for me as their leader and father. And lastly I have broken the code, and Im a leader...Im not suppose to fall in love with a medicine cat." he explained tearing at the ground with his claws.
Your E/C eyes grew wide and you glanced up then back at Firestar.
"Y-you fell in love with a medicine cat..." you stutter unsure of how you feel.
"Oh yes, she is beautiful, kind, smart, and brave...
Y/N I love you and I wont let Starclan make me hide that."
"I but, what about the clan?!" you trembled
He stepped closer. "Y/N do you really think my love for you will mess up my loyalty to the clan...and if you loved someone would you still be determined to stay and heal by your clan?"
"All my life I have dreamed of being faithful to my clan...now I understand I don't have to be alone to do it...Firestar will you be my mate?" you ask already knowing the answer
"Of course Y/N." he purred wrapping his tail around you.
*A/N*(I am beginning to see a flaw in my stories...the characters do not seem to have the same personality as in the Erin Hunter series Warrior Cats. I will attempt to keep that personality in my future stories.
