6. QUICK SHORTS - SAD LOVE

Hey so here are some quick little one paragraph imagines as I have no idea what to write x.
(Message me or comment if you would like an extended version of any of these shorts. I left some of them on a cliffhanger as I don't know which direction to take the narrative, so I guess it's up to you on whether or not to continue it or to leave it as is. Some of these have similar context).

1. In love with the thought:

"She's adorable, isn't she." I hold my new born child as Shawn sits next to me. "Yeah she is." "Y/N I love you and our baby." I gave a small smile as I look at my baby and turn my head to see Shawn and give a small laugh. "No Shawn, you're not in love with me, you're only in love with the thought of being in love with me especially now that we have a child together." It still breaks my heart what Shawn had done to me and as much I want that cheater back in my life, I just couldn't. "But Y/N we both know we still love each other and-" "Would you have really wanted to get back together if we had our baby?" Silence filled the room.

2. Once upon a time:

- "Once Upon A Time, there was a girl who was madly in love. She grew so madly in love seeing him just even for a second would make her day. When they'd dance around the room and kiss, she would get warm shivers making feel like she was floating on cloud 9. But one day she saw things started to change. The girl grew distant in out of the boy's sight and the boy grew distant in falling in love as he was never really there for the girl anymore. She would do anything, but never pressure the boy when it came to movie nights in, a simple home-cook dinner or even a 5 minute conversation but then she gave up because he said he was too tired or too busy or needed to spend more quality time with his friends. He'd always come home late, he'd quickly give her a cold kiss now giving her icy unwanted shivers in her spin and then just like that he was out of the bed ready to start his day. The girl now confronted the boy, realising it's time to move as she can no longer hold herself back anymore. And at this point, the boy realised how distant he has been as a single tear falls down his face and the girl wiped his tear trying not to cry herself." I grabbed my belongings and head to the door. "Please don't go." "Shawn I have to go. I need to go." "Just give me another chance." He stands shaking to the point where he's about to fall on his knees. I place my hand on the door. "Please, I love you, I was a selfish fool." He places his hand on mine just as the knob was about to turn. I smile back. "No, Shawn, I was the selfish one. I should've left months ago. One day you'll understand, trust me. I love you Shawn." I walked out of the door ready to move on from what I knew I would regret leaving.

3. Cheat:

- It was very early in the morning and had just arrived back from my little getaway trip with my friends. I told Shawn my trip was 7 days not 5 just so I can come home and surprise him with a cute little breakfast date after his day at the studio except when I got home he gave me the surprise. I stood near the door trying to process the information. The smell of cheap perfume and alcohol lingered across the hall. Pieces of clothing that were Shawn's and not mine were scattered on the floor. I went into the kitchen and wrote a note. "I hope you're happy. I'll collect my things later when you're not around. Have a NOT Happy anniversary week." With confused feelings processing, so many questions infiltrated my brain as I walked out of the apartment's door wondering.

4. Running Low Because I had You:

- Y/N was only in one relationship after we broke up and now she wants to be with me because she realised we're meant to be after being in that one relationship. After coming back from my tour we became close again and have dmcs. It was as if we never broke up, but this time my feelings are different. I'm scared that Y/N feelings would grow again as I am certain. As we sit on my couch Y/N says "Let's be together again." "Im sorry, but I have to let you go. Although I have already, this time I am certain." "Why?" A confused looked appeared. "I love you but not in that way anymore. It's time for me to finally meet somebody new and it's the truth. When I saw you with that other person, I was still crazy in love with you but then I realised something I cannot explain. You finally looked happy and this weird sense of grief I had for our relationship went away because you were finally happy and it made me happy." Y/N is shocked, I further explain myself saying even thought I shouldn't have let them go, it was the best decision as it gave me the opportunity to explore my feelings. "You made me feel something so real Y/N."
