Cindy's POV:
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
My alarm clock was going off. I slammed the off button and quickly climbed out the bed. I looked in the mirror to see my awkward self.
Ew I thought.
I released my light brown hair from the messy bun and combed it out with my fingers. I adjusted my side part as I walked over to the radio sitting on my desk. I turned it on just as One Thing started playing. Liam's voice made my heart melt as I sat there mouthing the words. I grabbed my hair brush and danced around my room pretending it my microphone. For those few minutes I enjoyed myself. Once it ended I opened my drawers and picked out a pair of light washed denim shorts with studs on the back pockets & stressed material. I scanned my closet, trying to look for a top that would work.
Today was the day. The day I'd be going to my first One Direction concert. My cousin, Kara, had gotten tickets to see them tonight and wanted to bring me along. I was jumping with joy when she asked me.
I brushed my hand along all my clothes as I passed by to reach a pink see-through button-up shirt. I put on a black bandoe under it.
Perfect I thought as I stared at my outfit in the mirror. I opened up my jewelry bins and put on some gold accesscories I thought would look well. Now it was time to work with my ratty hair.
I plugged in my curling iron before I brushed my hair throughly. I took sections of my hair and pushed them back as I curled another section.
"Cindy you have to come down to eat!" my mom yelled from downstairs.
"OK!" I shouted through my open door.
After I ate some bacon & eggs, I ran back upstairs to do my makeup. I applied a light foundation, wamred my skin with a glowing powder, put on some eyeliner, brushed my eyelashes with some mascara, and applied my favorite lip gloss.
Soon enough I was in my aunt's car with my cousin, off to the arena. We screeched with excitement.
"How are the seats?" I asked.
"They're pretty good actually, floor seats but about 10 rows from the stage."
I screeched again with a big smile on my face.
About a half hour later I slammed the car door and said goodbye to my aunt as she handed us our tickets and any money we might need for snacks. We hurried to get on line with what seemed like a million other girls to get on line.
A tall & slim woman with square glasses stood in front of a crowd of girls. She would pick four lucky girls to go to a meet & greet. Kara & I ran over to join. She started to number us, I was 25 & Kara was 26. The lady would select four slips of paper with numbers on it and those four girls would get to go. "26" she read out first. Kara looked like she was about to faint. She scurried next to lady with a big smile spread across her face. I started to shake. What if I wasn't picked and my cousin got to meet them but I'd be alone waiting by our seats for her to get back from meeting our idols.
After12 & 59 were picked, my stomach began to rumble. It had to be, I needed it to be.
"21," the lady read out. I started to tear up, I just wanted to break down crying but I couldn't in front of all these people. My cousin looked over at me with this worried look on her face. I know she felt terrible. Once the last girl cheerfully joined the others, I saw Kara whisper to the lady for a minute and I was motioned to come up.
As she started to walk us towards one of the entrances, I whispered to Kara, "What'd you say?"
"I told her the truth, you are my cousin and we need to stick together I just can't leave you alone at some arena packed with strangers."
I grinned as we entered the air-conditioned place, it felt so good. We both seemed more nervous than excited, even though this is what we wanted. As we lined up with people who had won meet & greet passes prior to today, I started to shiver a lot. I would be seeing my celebirity crushes in just a few.
We walked into a room and passed girls that were crying from just meeting the boys. I was starting to breathe funny. Kara was doing just the opposite, she was stiff and had wide eyes of fear. When it was our turn we saw five faces that we've always dreamt of seeing in person.
"Hello, I'm Harry..Styles," he said as he shook my hand and pulled me in for a hug.
"Hi my name is Zayn." I was given a tight bear hug
"Hello there my name is Liam how are you lovely?" I felt the warmth of his arms as they wrapped around me for a hug.
"Hey love," Louis chirped as he gave me a tight hug.
I expected a similar greeting from Niall but he stood there and shook my hand without any words or facial expressions. I stared at his baby blue eyes as they stared into mine.
We all posed for the picture and I felt his eyes still staring at me the whole time. The butterflies swarmed in my stomach.
"I'm Niall," he mumbled as I was being pushed along by security.
He reached out for my hand and pulled me away from security. For what felt like forever, he stared into my eyes. It wasn't awkard, it was the most comfortable feeling I had ever felt. His presence was warm and I just wanted to hug him. But I didn't get the chance to. He hugged me instead.
"Enjoy the concert," he said as I was pushed along again.
Kara started screaming of joy as we headed to the stadium.
"Harry kissed me on my forehead!"
I stood there feeling so lost in a daze.
"How was it for you?" Kara questioned while doing a happy dance.
It took me awhile before I choked out the words, "Niall...he stared at me for what felt like forever. There was such a conncection. We stared into each others' eyes and he gave me a warm hug, he barely said anything but stare. But it was perfect. I need to go back. I have to be there again and talk to him, introduce myself, it all happened so weird but I need him."
Kara looked astonished and wasn't sure whether to be happy or feel bad for me.
"Well let's get to the concert," she stuttered.
