With our lips moving in sync, I forget where that we are in a dark basement surrounded by our friends for a few moments.
Someone clears their throat, interrupting us from kissing. I tear apart from Sam's face to catch my breath. I lean Ito his ear, whispering "we'll finish that later" he looks back at me with that stupid smirk on his face.
We continue the game for about an hour longer. Which consisted of more kissing, screaming random things at the too of your lunch, eating gross things in the house, and much more. I gotta say it sure beats just chilling around my big house alone.
The power comes back on in time for my parents to come down stairs. I guess they got home now? Shut. I didn't clean the living room up yet, I'm sure it's just a couple pillows and blankets though. Shouldn't be a big deal.
My mother comes in and gapes at the sight of 14 teens sitting in her basement. She asks me to come speak with her in private.
Walking over to the spare room, she asks how my night was. "Really find actually, we all crashed in the living room, watching movies and then made pancakes for breakfast" I say, only slightly lying. She doesn't need to know that Sammy and I shared my bed. I mean we didn't do anything, but I'm still not sure how she'd take it.
"Sounds like a lively night darling, but in afraid I'm going to have to ask you to kick them out Hun." She states. "Why?" "Because were having the Hastings over in a few hours dear! Did I forget to tell you?" Says my mom. "I believe it slipped your mind, but it's no big deal. What time should I ask them to leave?" I ask. "As soon as possible, I'm sorry dear, I hate to ruin your day with your new friends, if it was any other day they could stay as long as they like" she responds "really mom, it's not a big deal, I see Jessi all the time, I'm just not sure when all the guys leave is all. I'll have to talk to Sammy." "Alright baby, once they're gone I'll need some help cleaning up. Linda is out with her family today, so she can't make it to clean." She says, reminding me again that once my friends leave it's back to my responsibilities and other things in life.
I excuse myself, and walk back into the main basement and tell everyone the news. They all say they have to get back to their hotel anyways, so I get up to walk them out.
Nash, Cam, and Sammy are the last ones to leave, but before they go, they tell me that they're all staying in LA for the summer, maybe longer. I excitedly jump up and down and pull them all in for a group hug. Saying that I'll text them this week to hangout again. Sammy is the last one to actually leave my house and he pulls me in for a hug and whispers in my ear. "I'll see you later babe" giving my goosebumps. This boy.
Blowing playful kisses to the car they rented, I watch them drive away. I turn to Jessi and offer to drive her home. I feel like I'm always driving her around. But it's whatever, I look for any excuse to drive my car.
Returning from dropping Jess off at her house, I walk back into my foyer to see my mom sitting at the bottom if the stairs, as if she was waiting for me. I ask her what's up and she responds with "whose that gorgeous boy who hugged you?" "Mom that's Sammy, and don't go and get the hots for my man" I joke. She asks is I would like to have him over for dinner with the Hastings, i thank her and I say that I'll text him right away. But she interrupts me with "no honey, you text him right after you clean up the living room." I roll my eyes, and kiss her on the cheek, thanking her once again, for being an amazing, goofy and understanding mother.
Putting the pillows back into place, I call my mother in for approval, so I can go call Sammy. She says it's looks alright- not as nice as when kinda does it, but it'll do. I jump over the sofa, kiss her in the cheek, and run upstairs already having Sammy on the phone.
