It was now Monday, much to my dissatisfaction. Lucky for me, the happiness of talking to Connie yesterday still remained, and I could hardly focus at school.
Questions like, "What's Connie thinking right now?" and, "How is Connie feeling right now?" filled my head without me even knowing.
Even if it was a little new to me, I could officially label this girl as a crush now.
But, sadly, having a crush doesn't prevent tests from being a thing.
aussie: hey, u there?
connie!!: Oh, yeah! What's up?
aussie: well, I have an essay tomorrow on a book I forgot to read
aussie: so nothing much
connie!!: !!!
connie!!: Which book?
aussie: to kill a mockingbird, im pretty sure
aussie: there were a few others i could've chosen to read i think
connie!!: To Kill a Mockingbird By Harper Lee?
aussie: yessss? you a fan?
connie!!: Welllll...
connie!!: If ur up to it, and if you
//really// want to get a good grade..connie!!: I may or may not be able to help you out??
aussie: asdfghjkl
aussie: I'm going to feel bad for taking time out of your day just for one good grade
connie!!: Don't you worry! I'm bored out of my mind right now, you'll just be helping me not to be bored lol
aussie: if UR up to it, then why not lol
aussie: look at me cheating, im such a scoundrel
connie!!: LOL
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At first, I wasn't 100% sure if Connie sending a copy of the essay she did as a Freshman and printing it out and dubbing it as my own was really the right thing to do. But then again, when had I ever not do the opposite of what I was supposed to do?
Oh. Right. Back when Connie didn't exist. Back when I wasn't actually trying for once.
connie!!: How do you usually write things for school?
aussie: with grammar mistakes
aussie: as you probably know already from how im typing now
connie!!: Its no big deal, really!
connie!!: Just add a few barley noticeable mistakes. Like forgetting a letter in a couple words.
aussie: yup. anything less than 10 mistakes and my teacher is already calling me a cheater.
connie!!: I doubt even if your teacher does (but probably wont) believe you cheated, she isnt gonna find out that it was my essay i let you copy off of lol
aussie: abso-bloody-lutely
aussie: thanks again for helping meeee
aussie: if it wasnt for you i'd be failing english. im barley passing now, lol
aussie: you said you go to med school right? must be 10x more bloody stressful
connie!!: Oh god, haha!
connie!!: Yeah, im only on the first year of it and its already stressing me out
connie!!: I know im glad i got in, but sometimes i wonder if ill even get past the five years of pre-med prep. Then the four years of medical school, and three to seven years of residency...
aussie: sheesh!
aussie: you must be really dedicated to this
connie!!: Lol, duh!!
I smiled to myself, suddenly noticing my cheeks feeling warm but it didn't matter. Why ruin such a perfect conversation now—
Oh. Right. School.
I groan.
aussie: uggghhhh
aussie: I have to get off. school n stuff
connie!!: Oh, talk to you later?
aussie: yeppp 👍 cyaa
connie!!: Cya! <3
I blushed harder after seeing the little heart at the end of her sentence, before quickly shutting my phone off and collapsing into my bed.
(I apologize for the inactivity. I will be working harder to keep a regular schedule, and I feel horrible for being so inactive! I was experiencing personal issues and hopefully you all are still looking forward to weekly updates!!
As an apology, I'll be doing double updates for a few weeks or so. Until the next update~!)
