Councilor Styles

I was getting frustrated with myself. I couldn't go to sleep. I decided to go pick up the trash we'd left in the living room.
I quietly got up and crept out the door careful not to wake the sleeping Rollins.
I quietly made my way downstairs and to the living room. There was so much wrapping paper, it went up, a little below my knees. I didn't want to invade the Styles' space and go searching for a trash bag so I just decided to make piles of the wrapping paper.
At least this way it'll be easier to put in the bags, I thought.
I created two piles-no- two mountains of wrapping paper.
I picked up some more when the lights turned on, "I thought I heard some noise"
I turned around to see AJ.
"Sorry" I said in a loud whisper, "I tried to be quiet"
"What are you doing here at this hour anyway?" he asked.
"I couldn't sleep" I said.
"Well" he said and went to the kitchen and came back with a trash bag, "this could be useful"
"Thanks, I didn't want to invade your space" I said as he helped me put the wrapping paper in the trash bag.
"Don't worry about it, this is your house while your here" he said, "so what's keeping you up?"
"Honestly, I don't know" I said.
"Is it the Balor thing?" he said, "he left this when he came by, he said it was for you. I didn't want to give it to you with everyone in the room, with everythings that's already happened tonight" he gave me an envelope.
I took it and looked at it for a while. Then I sat down on the couch, "AJ, how am I supposed to feel about this?" I asked.
He sat down next to me, "I don't, how do you feel?"
"I don't." I said, "I just don't know"
"Well, just how do you feel about the whole thing?" said AJ.
"That's the thing!" I said, "I'm I supposed to be happy I broke up with him, cause of what he did to Sami. Or should I be sad because I broke up with him. Did I do the right thing, AJ?"
"Look, you did the right thing. You chose to help out your friend. And Balor, should of came to you, he should of been like, 'hey I saw this on the internet, is it true?' That's it. In a nice orderly fashion way. But what did he do? He chose beat a man instead of confronted you. That's what, in the words of Chris Jericho, a 'stupid idiot' does. He didn't think, he acted and he paid for his actions. How? By losing you." he said, "and about your feelings, I think you should be happy for yourself. With Finn out of your life, you can focus on yourself more.  Work harder, train harder, and after that you can go treat yourself with  pedicures, facials or whatever you do for fun instead of having to go to some lame date with Finn"
I thought about everything he said, "ok" I said and nodded my head, "yeah, your right"
"You think you can go to sleep now" said AJ.
"Yeah, thank you so much AJ" I said and got up.
"Yeah, your welcome" he said, "now go get some sleep, I'll finish here"
I took the card AJ had given me.
"What are you going to do with it?" asked AJ.
I walked over to the fire place, it was off.
"Can you turn this on?" I asked AJ and he turned the fire pit on.
I looked at the envelope again, wondered what he wrote inside.
"Probably some dumb apology" I said out loud, "if he really was sorry then he would have come said it in person" then I said in my best Irish accent, "I'm so sorry, please come back," then I throw the letter in the fire place.
"Good night AJ" I said and went back upstairs.
I quietly went back to the room and opened the door. I snuck inside, Seth still sleeping.
I then for my phone.
3:54am I bet Lana is still up, I thought as I went to my contacts.
'you're still up right?' I sent.
Almost immediately she replied, 'of course, I'm not hitting the hay till the sun comes up'
'I need a girls night asap' I sent followed by, 'not like last time tho, my dad got real mad at me'
'Saturday or Friday night?' she sent.
'any day is fine by me' I sent, 'also get all the girls to come, Asuka, Riott Squad, Sonya and Mandy, anyone is welcomed, I don't care who it is'
'Friday, 8pm, Las Vegas' she sent.
'your the best' I sent.
'im also #1' she sent.
