Noah never regrets.

"Did you really have to do that?" Jared asked in disbelief, watching Noah smoke a joint, seated comfortably on the couch in front of him.

The TV's on but neither of them listens to the broadcaster, they focused on the tension. Each other's anger irritates them but they wouldn't have been fighting if not for the girl. Namine Scott. "I don't want to argue with you" Noah uttered, looking at Jared with stone-cold eyes. "If you want to pursue her go get her, I'm done" he added.

Jared angrily walked towards him in pure disappointment to what he just heard. He grabbed Noah by the shirt making him stand up and they stood face to face while his hands are still gripped tightly on his shirt, "How dare you disrespect her like that!" he hissed.

Noah smirked. It wasn't a question. He clearly stated it but he misunderstood what Noah wanted to imply, "Jared, you hated me before Namine even comes into picture" Noah reminded, "I had reasons why I broke up with her. I don't disrespect her. She will be better off with you than she will ever be with me, that's what I realized" he said.

Jared's grip on his shirt loosens and he nods. "But she chose you" Jared uttered, his face turned dim as he remembers the day Namine just put him into friend zone when he confessed.

"I'm not for her" Noah said and he gently pats his brother's shoulders and went back to the couch.

"Why is that?" Jared asked, turning his head to him.

"She was a virgin-"

"What?! You touched her?" Jared shouted out of surprise. He was almost ready to punch Noah but he kept his cool, curling his fingers to a fist to stop them from being compulsive. It's not for him to decide who Namine wanted to sleep with but he wished Noah wouldn't have done that.

"It wasn't my intention" Noah defended, "It just happened and when I realized how pure she is it scared me..." he explained, "It scared me that I can't hold something so fragile" he said. He was surprised he opened up to his brother, the person he hates the most. Noah barely opens up, he barely talks to people. It's not like him when he speaks, the only reason he chose silence was because he's afraid he'd get used to becoming an open book. To expressing himself more which to him, makes him a vulnerable person.

Jared stormed out of the room. For months he had been going on about Namine being bullied at school and he knows that even if all students stop their heinous acts, the only person that can make her feel better was Noah. To Noah, it's not his business to care for her. He feels awful when he feels any bit of emotion normal people have, he's cold-hearted and ignorant. He decided he'd stay that way.

It could be that he lacks affection considering that Jared's been the darling of the family or it could also be he had deeper reasons, big dark secrets only that Noah knows.

"So you can't wear a skirt and you can't wear anything sexy at all. What should I make you wear then?" asked Daisy as Namine runs to her for advice on what to wear. She was never conscious about how she should dress up but when Noah's around, who wouldn't? Daisy chuckled, "You're literally asking this lesbian woman for fashion advice huh?" she said sarcastically, "We'll see then" she added, her fingers running through Namine's closet as she searched a good wear for her.

"All your clothes looks like church clothes to be honest" Daisy commented, "It's only five, wanna go out and find some dress that will actually 'fit' a party?" she asked excitedly and Namine nodded, grabbing her sling bag from the side table then she wrapped her arm on Daisy's arm as they went out of the room laughing.

While they were walking together, Daisy gently pulls up Namine's sleeve and lightly circled her finger on the deepest scar which was on her wrist, "Was it painful?" she asked.
