[Third Person P.O.V.]
Jieun sat at the edge of the couch while the new human-like object sat beside her. Curiosity was eating her alive but she tried to take it slow, asking him questions. She knew nothing about this creation-- her father never told her he would make such a realistic robot that would come to life after his death.
They had just exited the lab and were sitting in the living room.
"I am not able to comprehend your facial expression, please speak." The robot said while Jieun eyed him in total shock, fear, nervousness, along with her being really sleepy.
"Let's start simple." She said, adjusting on her seat. "What's your name?"
"Kim Namjoon, as my data says." He said, he blinked once in a while but his eyes were mostly stationary, looking at her.
"Age?"
"23 years old. I was first activated two years back only, then shut back down until today." She frowned, utter curiosity on her features as he sat still with a polite yet blank expression.
"How did you know you were to activate... today?" She asked. If he was shut down this whole time there had to be an external connection that put him back to life.
"I was activated. I can't do it myself. Were you not aware of it?" She shook her head at his question.
"Who activated you?"
BARK BARK! Loud barks interfered the interview and their head snapped towards the sound.
"Bora-ya!!" Jieun laughed as the heavy mechanical dog jumped on her frame. She pet Bora's head as she nuzzled into her face. "You woke up fully energized, huh?" Bora barked in reply before she looked around at the new machine. She barked at him, making him smile and raise his hand.
"Hello to you too, Bora." He reached his hand out for her. She licked his hands with her silver tongue and jumped over to him.
This was Bora, a machine her dad created about six years back because of her love for pets that she couldn't have keep to her allergy. She's one creation of her dad that made Jieun the happiest. Being a machine, she didn't have to eat or drink, all she was programmed to do was ask and give love. She had a little protecting application in her system along pulse senser, which alerted her incase Jieun ever in trouble or disturbed. Sometimes her joints had to be oiled because they would hurt her. She was a tiny husky with (fake,) short, and brown hair that didn't grow further. She had vibrating cells below her paw and the hair on her neck which helped the girl whenever she was stressed. She would sense Jieun's heartbeat and if it was too fast she'd hug her and the cells did their work, relaxing her.
"To answer your question-" he suddenly said looking up from Bora. "I don't have any data on that information. My core organ sensed signals and started working."
"So your organs are all mechanical?"
"Not all, just my heart. It's the only running machine in me." He looked around the room.
"Expain." She demanded.
"What topic?" He looked at her again, his eyes were a beautiful shade of brown, but looked so lifeless. Just the way Bora's purple eyes looked when she was first activated.
"Your body."
"I already told you a part of it. All the organs in me are real, only my heart is a machine of soft and protected steel that pumps. The chemicals in my heart charge the liquid inside and new blood is generated. This process keeps going unless there's damage to the heart. Unlike Bora, who's data I can read, I do need to excrete at least thrice a week for the used and dirty liquids to leave my body. My eating is limited, I cannot do that as much as humans." She wondered if he even breathed between his talk but she listened carefully, astonishment filling in her curiosity. "I'm basically half human."
