Broken [ON GOING]

Chapter One - Assassin

        I woke up, Not knowing what would be happening within the Next Few Weeks...

        The day went on normally, Except for when We got a report of someone trying to sneak into my room. After that happened, my Advisor said that we should start a Manhunt for the Intruder. I told him No and that we should have someone investigate my room - We did.

        The Maid that we sent in found a tripwire leading to a 1911 Colt .45 wired up to fire once pressure was applied to it... Also... What I meant by Finding was getting shot by.

        The Maid was Rushed out of the Room and to the Medical Ward. We then sent in a Proper investigator named Franz with a Nurse and Two guards with him. They found an IED under the Bed mattress rigged to explode by 10 pm (Luckily for me, I don't sleep until 1 am (Which my advisor Also Tells me I should stop doing)) and A window Lock is broken.

        So from what We could tell, they wanted The IED to Explode, Sneak back in before they find my body, or what's left of it, and Dispose of it. Just the thought of dying and no one knowing sent chills down my spine.

        Franz told us the rest of the room was searched and no other traps where found. A Guard was Assigned to keep watch on my room at all times and report anything and anyone acting suspiciously passing my room. The guard had a Browning 1911 and a Small Sword. He was meant to have the sword on hand at all times and the Browning Holstered.

        About an hour after the Incident, I went to bed. I thought it would be safe with the guard on watch.

        During the Night, the Guard fell asleep, and because of that, I was almost killed. While I slept, the Guard was meant to be on a stool in the corner of the room with his browning out. Instead, He was passed out on the floor with my bottle of Jameson Whisky beside him 3/4th of the way empty.

        A Woman wearing all black (From what I could tell) Left my closet making a squeaking noise that woke me up. I tried to look over to the guard but, before I could, a pillow was forced onto my face. It was more around my neck than my face.

        The Assassin, Clearly Embarrassed by her mistake, Lifted the pillow and tried to put it over my nose but I caught her wrist and she screamed.

        The guard woke up, Still drunk, and tried to stab the assassin. Unsurprisingly He missed, fell onto the floor, and knocked himself out like a dumbass.

        Two guards patrolling the Keep Heard the girl scream and rushed in right after the other guard fell. The bigger one named Jackson Pulled out his Colt 1911 while the other one Tackled her and Cuffed her While Three more guards rushed in while Alarms started in the background.

        The three guards dragged me out of my bed and into the hallway so I could be safer. I instantly thought about what Franz said. "The Investigator told us the rest of the room was searched...". I got furious. He lied to me. He lied About my safety. He Lied...

        I got up and started to stop off to the front gate of the Keep Until I saw around 20 guards with their weapons drawn Ready to fire at anything that passed the door. There were also two Mk.3 Mechs by the door. One on each side ready to fire just like the guards.

        I attempted to push past the guards one Grabbed my arm and pulled me back. "Sire, I can not allow you to go outside! Word has spread about the assassin and Riots have started in the streets. We need you to stay inside while we deal with this and suppress the people." "That doesn't change anything", I said, "Franz Lied about my room being searched. I need to confront him about this right away." "You very much do not! We have orders from your father to keep you in the Keep until Further notice!" He said loud enough for the closer guards to look over. "It very much matters!", I yell as I push him Guard to the ground and taking his pistol.

        I rush out of the Keep while two other guards reach for me, but I was to fast for them. I really just ran. I just kept running. I didn't stop until I reached Franz's house.
