thank you so much for reading my first book, I really hope you like this one as much as you liked the last one.
Barry sat on the couch, Nora on his knee. Barry bounced his up and down, making Nora bounce and giggle. Barry couldn't help but smile at his smiling baby girl. Suddenly, Nora pointed past Barry. When Barry looked back, Iris stood holding something behind her back. A big smile spread across her face. She bounced on the balls of her feet. "Guess what I found!" Iris said. "What did you find?" Barry asked, holding Nora up on his knee. Iris held up a book with a dinosaur on it. Barry could feel himself tearing up. He read this book with his mother when he was in the speed force the first time. It was telling Only book he had that he shared with his mom. Iris came and sat down next to Barry. Nora grabbed at the book, putting her mouth on the hard wooden pages. "I used to read this with my mother. Her name was Nora too." Nora wasn't paying attention until Barry said her name. She smiled at him and handed him the book. Iris took pictures of Barry and Nora, these would soon be here new phone background. Barry read the book to Nora. Nora occasionally pointed at the dinosaurs on the pages, smiled happily at them. After they read, Nora was put down for her evening nap. When Iris plopped back down on the couch with Barry, she noticed Barry was still holding the book. "You okay babe?" Iris asked. "Yeah, um. Yeah I am." Barry said, sniffling quickly. "Iris? Where did you get this?" "It was in a box of stuff you labeled nora. I thought it would have some of Nora's pajamas in it, then I found this." Iris said. "Did I do something wrong?" "No, this was great. I wanted to read that book to my kid like when my mom did. That was a great supprise." Barry said, kissing Iris on the cheek softly and pulling her into a big hug.
(Small update on things. I may not be uploading on time for a little while. With sports, school, and work, I have barely any time for myself, so I will write and update as much as I can.after sports are done, I will be uploading more. Thank you again for voting and liking my story, I'm taking suggestions all the time also) (Edit: sorry I didn't post on Thursday, I dislocated my shoulder during my volleyball game and I was at the ER until 3am)
