Chapter 3: Super Genius
As it turns out, the few friends that Andrew invited were also friends with Luke. Coincidence? I think not.
"I can't believe you're inviting the friends of the person who I just beat up!" I threw my hands up in exasperation. "And you say I'm crazy?"
He rolled his eyes at my outburst, "You are crazy. Besides, they think you're actually pretty cool."
"Even if they're completely wrong," he mumbles under his breath and I glare at him, hoping my eyes would shoot lasers out at him. I'm usually fine with being a human and all, but at times like these, I really do wish I had powers. Petty, I know.
Just as I'm about to strangle him, the devils appear with sushi in their hands. They all raised their eyebrows at the position we were in and I swore I saw one guy actually almost drop what he was holding. Had he dropped it, he would've joined Andrew on the soon-to-be-dead train.
"I thought you were gay, dude." the clean looking guy in the front makes a face at Andrew and briefly glances at me. I shrugged my shoulders and mouthed to him "He's confused". The guy lets out an oof and heads to the table, making sure to step over us.
Andrew and I quickly hurried to them, almost knocking over Anne. "Kids, there's plenty of food for all of you so be nice," she groaned.
While Andrew brought his friends, Anne had brought over her younger siblings. The moment they stepped into my complex, I noticed that they were very respectful and mindful of everything. The children, surprisingly, did almost everything I asked and never forgot their manners. Were these the results of having Anne as a mother figure?
Her two older brothers, James and Fin, told her that they would come by later since their shifts weren't over. Even as the younger sibling, Anne had talked to her brothers in a motherly tone, to which the two had responded with sniffles.
"I'm so glad you're here, Lil Anne!" James had cried out. Fin shushed him and quickly exchanged "I love you's" and "See you later" to Anne. Needless to say, almost everyone in the room looked at Anne in awe. As long as she was alive, this world would be one step closer to a good place. If only some people had her in their lives, maybe they would have a better state of mind.
Besides James and Fin, Anne's other siblings were Mason, Polly, Sasha, Frank, Sireal, and Delcan.
Mason, along with Sireal, were the oldest among the little ones. Mason was 13 and Sireal was 12, both in 8th grade. I was confused before Anne explained that she had enrolled them in a special middle school, one for those who had a rough past. When I had asked the two how they felt about it, Mason had responded with, "We know it's to help us get smarter, but the kids there are really rude."
Anne's face had hardened what he had sneered out next, "Sometimes they push Sireal around, and I swear to god if you hadn't raised us to be good, I would've done more than just take Sireal out of there."
Felix, one of Andrew's friends, had ruffled Mason's fluffy hair. "Anne will still call you a good boy if you are just protecting your family, kid." I had glanced at Anne, only to see her have Frank in her lap and hands grabbing onto Sireal's.
Frank and Delcan were twins, both still only in 6th grade. They both had short, blonde hair and shared similar facial features. The only thing that was different between them was their teeth. Frank had sharp canines whilst Delcan had teeth that were as flat as a tooth could be. It turns out that Frank had gotten his teeth from their lycan side, just like his younger sister, Polly.
Polly was still a small toddler at the age of 4 and was very sweet. Her yellow locks were held in two pigtails and she wore a bright smile, her hands never leaving Sasha's side.
Sasha was the youngest of them all, a tiny 2-year old with chubby cheeks and a shy smile. She had bangs that covered her eyes, but you could see when she was looking at you or not. With her hand still clasped with Polly's, she gave me a small wave with her head down in embarrassment. Not being able to take it any longer, she turned to hide in Polly's embrace.
It was the cutest sight ever, a small child hiding in another small child's embrace. So this is what family was, I thought to myself. How nice.
"Can we just get to the sushi?" cried out one of Andrew's friends. Okay, I know I said they could invite people, but this was way too much.
"Okay, everybody line up in front of me. Now," I demanded. Although confused, everyone did as they were told. I stood up and walked from the first person to the last.
I clapped my hands, "Alright, raise your hands when I call your names."
"Bae, this is s-"
"-Supergenius, I know!" I exclaimed. Andrew rolled his eyes at my butting in, probably because he had been expecting it. I proceeded to call out the names of those who I actually was introduced to, or at least remember. Obviously, I had called out Andrew, Anne, and the little kids, but that left all of Andrew's friends. And I mean all of them.
"Look, I know everyone wants to be with moi in this amazing party, but not everyone can stay," I feigned disappointment, "But do not fret, because at least two of you can still stay. However, we must do it by easiest name to remember because I said so."
The first one to my right snorted, "As if you'll kick us out because of something like that, right baby girl?"
"Get out."
He jumped back in surprise, "W-wait what? Why?"
"That's too long of a name."
He glared at me. "Fine then, fuck all of you."
"Don't try to give yourself new names, that's weird." the kids giggled.
Long name guy screamed out profanities and stomped out of my complex, but not before taking all of the other guys with him. Shame, one of them was actually pretty cute.

Okay, so for anyone actually reading this, school has just started and I swear I'm not ready for anything, let alone a pre-test. And I'm sick so, yippee.
