I really like Alec. He has been fussing over me for 30 minutes and so I grab his head and make him look me in the eye and I tell him "I'm okay." The next thing that happens is Alec smashes his lips to mine. I'm in shock and he pulls away and starts apologizing and so I say "Shut up and kiss me." He smiles and kisses me again.
Kayla's POV
I stared at my box and I couldn't open it. Not without crying. I sat it down, got out of bed and put my pjs on.

I didn't hear my door open after I was in my bed reading. "Hey..." I heard Jace say. "Hey Jace. You can't sleep?" He nods. "Come on I was just about to turn in. You can sleep in here with me." He came in and closed the door and crawled into my bed.
*Later that Night*
I couldn't sleep so I decided to sit up and I grabbed my little box of my life. I opened it and saw a letter from my mom. I pulled it out and sat it to the side. I pulled out a baby ring.
